[EMAIL] Del Doyle's Cranberries

On May 25th, I sent this email:
Quote:
Hello,

I wanted to find out what your hours of operation are?

Today, I received this response:

Quote:
Hello Mr. Steele,

Thank you for your interest in Del Doyle's Cranberries!

Although it's still very early in the season and fresh cranberries are not
yet at hand, we have indeed kicked off this year's growing season! Tours
of the bogs and informational programs are available, as are a wide
variety of specialty cranberry food products.

The Cranberry harvest occurs in September and October of every year and
2006 looks to be an outstanding year in both quality and quantity, so make
plans now to return to Del Doyle's in the Fall to share in the excitement!

Our business hours are from 8am to 6pm, Monday through Saturday and Tour
Prices are as follows:

Children 5 and Under - FREE
Students and Seniors 60+ - $4.00
Adults - $6.50

Hope to see you soon!

Del Doyle's Cranberries

P.S. In the summer, the Jersey Devil is here on the second weekend of the month.

This was a lame attempt to see if the Dolye's would be affected by the redevelopment plan, or if it would effect the ecological balance they mention on their website; to give us more ammuntion to save the library. No help.

Their reply..(I've only included the part that's different from previous replies.) :

Included in the tours are a circuit around the cranberry beds, written
displays, machinery demonstrations, farming antiques, photos, videos and
other interesting information. Cranberry gifts available on site include
Del's Famous Cranberry Grill Sauce, jellies, teas and extracts of
cranberry among others.

There are no immediate plans for redevelopment in this area that we are
aware of, and the land on which Del's sits has long been owned and
occupied by the Doyle family. I'm sure Del's will be around for a long,
long time.

Thanks so much for the recipe. Keep an eye out, yours may be selected from among the many we receive for placement on our site!
