Might be worth listening out on the radio for the ooze as they mention about trying to get on our radio.

There are only 2 blog posts - this being the relevent one:

Caine, Hooked up, 6th June 06 wrote:

Had dinner again with this girl I've been seeing. I'm trying not to go crazy with the lecks, but it was either spend or starve - she wasn't about to learn how to cook, and I wasn't going to let her buy me dinner. Anyway, we hit Conundra and went dutch.

I knew she was buttering me up for something. She has this friend who calls her key at all hours - a guy I work with - and they're all whispers together. I like a challenge, but I've given up trying to work out what's going on with those two. He's an all right bloke, but very straight-no-chaser, if you know what I mean.

Turns out they need a favour. I helped her out a while ago with some guys from Hesh, and she's asked me to make a return trip and nudge them again for information. Something to do with the Cube, she reckons. I could do without it, but hey, she's worth the hassle.

And as a bit of a bribe, she's putting this blog live on the link, so hello Earth. Maybe I'll try and persuade Helix to do a deal with some Earth label and get The Ooze on your radio. It's about time you heard some decent stuff.

(also this made me laugh) Laughing

It's really pretty simple. After a few bad experiences, we've established three guiding principles for The Ooze.

- We don't do drugs.
- We don't do covers.
- We don't do weddings

And he says he has been "seeing" Violet!! Slighty different from Violet's story in April .....

And the most irritating part is that just because Caine and I have been going out lately - as friends, I mean - everybody is assuming there's some sort of relationship happening. Because really, there's nothing going on between us. At all. And if there were, it certainly wouldn't be anything serious.

He obviously thinks a lot about Violet:

Do you think she knows this?

I thought it all cooled down though?

And the Ooziness (on the site) is cool.

I'd be interested to know where this Chaz character got 40,000 from... sounds like a lot of money to me...

It's about £2,000. So large, but not a huge amount.

No no no, Caine paid Chaz for the drums.
Where Caine got them from?
Never had 'em... hellooooo, interest rates. Rolling Eyes

Oh, and:
**** YEAH, CAINE'S IN!
FINALLY!

EDIT: But, on the whole, why not bring Caine in? He's obviously more than interested, and if he decides to pry in regardless, he might be an unexpected wrench in the works. I'd wait, obviously, but I would more than think it fair to let him know more about what it is he's getting into. He's at risk already; least we could do is show him exactly how much, rather than using him with blinders on.

EDIT 2: AWRIGHT, I FIXED IT THE FIRST TIME! Evil or Very Mad
Oh, and, how appropriate a date for Caine's blog, no?

It was a drum set, but he actually didn't pay for it. He overdrafted his account to purchase it. Very Happy

I like his thinking, (and his taste in music)...

Caine wrote:

Thoughts

I don't believe in ley lines or mystical forces, but sometimes I wonder whether there's more to life than coincidence. Take Jimi Hendrix and George Frideric Handel. They were neighbours. Two centuries apart, but they lived next door to each other.

For the criminally under-informed: Handel was a baroque composer in eighteenth-century London. Hendrix was a twentieth-century guitar god. He spent a couple of years hanging out next to Handel's old Brook Street digs. In Earth terms, their music was at opposite ends of the spectrum, but I think they could have jammed together. Hendrix covered some great tunes - why not Handel's Messiah? I could see that working.

Anyway, now they've both passed on, maybe they've had the chance to compare notes. Apparently, Jimi became a bit of a fan of George when he found out they shared the same brickwork. I bet George would have appreciated Jimi's sound too.

Yes, I am worryingly excited about Caine's involvement... oh, what the heck: Squee!!
