Yeah... I think I brought this up back when we first got into Marcus' 'dex, but everyone was happy to say it's a holiday, so it could just be that holidays are listed in blue in the 'dex software. I ain't so sure.

Plus, our growing proximity to Halloween (and the fact that we are, again currently between major plot events... I'm personally itching to find out what goes down between Ceasar and Scratch...)

(no pun intended)

... makes it an ideal subject to bring up again. IMHO. Wink

I don't really have anything constructive to add, but I do like the idea that Marcus is planning something for halloween. What better time to let a Minotaur out of a Labyrinth?

Didn't someone predict that, from the pattern of dates in Beth's rearranged archive, the next event would occur on Halloween?

who knows? this is a very vague question as we really have no evidence... you may as well ask who the heck Kathy is.

but, in an extreme case... if Omnie's words of hearsay are true, and something paranormal DOES happen on the 31st... we may have a new "Sheismissing" on our hands.

like i said that's an extreme case, but it seems to follow through with everything else. I've had a feeling, since the beginning, that James Avery was "taken out", so to speak, because he got too close to something he wasn't supposed to see. Kathy could be gathering info to make sure there's no holes they've left uncovered. Marcus could be telling her to go on vacation so that she may never return. i've also always had the thought that this would be the story of Phillip and Beth discovering the matrix, getting too close with no way out, and mysteriously disappearing. the only thing that bothers me are the seemingly endless stream of incoming NPC's. caesar, scratch, texel, the rest of the hacker gang, Dr. Kane, Wongmo, Leiphe, Dina N., the other person on Nekodas... the story's broadening far more than i ever thought it would.

Perhaps Alice will fall down the Rabbit Hole on Halloween by going into the Vortex. Maybe that is what happened to the missing couple.

What's gonna happen on Halloween? Nothing I'm able to participate unfortunately. Yeah I'm bitter. Confused

Okay, I'm over it. Or at least I will be once I get to a computer tomorrow that has quicktime so I can see what actually happened.
