Oh my. That is unpleasant. Made me feel slighy icky.
*dashes off to check who's in my team*
Have now removed the unfortunate Cisse from my team, and changed my team name.

Ah just as well you mentioned it again Chris.
Have now replaced one crippled Ballack.
Lets hope no-one else decides to randomly break somethign in the next few days.
As for Rooney, he's 300% certain to be fit at some stage. This means he can break 2 more bones and still be ok if my maths is correct.

Not again! Probably not as horrible as the last time he did it though....

Looks like this should be irrelevantly funny if nothing else.
Nodmeister - Manager of The Tangara Backpacks (at least for Summer 2006 at any rate)
[edit] spelling my username AND TEAM NAME correctly might be a good start

In for a penny in for a pound... and seeing as this is free I am right in there like a Northerner at a pint, pie and peas giveaway!
Untied United... I can hear them on the terraces now...

Missed this thread before, but luckily (?) got my entry in just in time. Thanks for setting this up, Chris.
I should explain the name: Sexy FC was the team I played for in Beijing (and certainly not meant to be a reflection on the manager).
JiaYou, Sexy!

I remember a steward mopping up his blood. Horrible.
Anyway. 31 teams now. Anymore?

The badgers are in. Bit of a rush job but have avoided Cisse at least, and Rooney. The Togolese chief voodoo priest has predicted big things for his boys, so that's where I've spent my big bucks.

Yes. Thanks for putting this together Chris. Top Notch. Unfortunately it's started all the folks at my work off and now I'm straddling two leagues.
Twice the shame of getting the wooden spoon

I'm in. The badger quotient goes up a notch with the addition of the lesser known aquatic variety.

UK Vers2.0...not that I expect Americans to understand.
Them's fightin' words. I have not worked 10 hours the past two days in order to get my 40 in before noon Friday for nothing.
I would join, but the rankings given to the Americans pisses me off. For example, Keller as tied for 37th best goalie?! The THIRD goalies for the following teams have a higher or equal price than USA's #1:
* Argentina
* Brazil
* Croatia (ties on 3rd)
* Czech Republic (ties on 3rd)
* England
* France
* Germany
* Italy
* Netherlands
* Serbia & Montenegro (ties on 3rd)
* Spain
* Sweden (ties on third)
That's just crap. Go check the FIFA world rankings. Start at the top and start counting teams until you get to USA. It's a short run (Mexico shouldn't be above us). Keller's a good reason why we're there.
Grr ... bloody Euro-centric crap.
