But this is in your favour (favor) surely? Snap up all those top value Yankees like Carlos Bocanegra and Brian McBride for nothing and then pile in for the real quality players (i.e those from Europe Wink ). You're bound to have more to spend than the rest of us who have foolishly overlooked this cornucopia of Stateside talent?

Aha, the lesser seabadger, a splendid if reclusive cousin. You are very welcome my friend. Wink

Unfortunately, you can only have two players from any given team in the group rounds. To be fair, I do not think that McBride and Bocanegra will be that good comparatively due to the competition in the group (but I'm hoping I'm wrong).

I'm also a lazy bum so I'll just whine (opine, right?) from the sideline.

As a Leicester fan, I agree that Keller's a fantastic keeper. I was sorry (but not surprised) when he left us.

I think that the US team has been given lower prices *not* because the players are worse, but because the odds suggest that they are unlikely to progress to the second round. I'm not so sure. Group E is, I reckon, the Group of Death. I can see any of the four teams getting through.

So I wouldn't be annoyed with his price. See it as a bargain.

As for European bias, I think the prices are more South American-centric than anything else. Argentina's No 1 keeper is most expensive at 7.0 and then their number 2 is 3rd= at 6.5, and their third 12th=at 6.0. Shurely shome mishtake?

Dave Gedge threw a guitar across the stage...on the second song. Cool

Post-punk brilliance. Great stuff.

Thanks Chris, will add spice in between the scans and xrays. You shouldn't make fun of North Londoners though. I know they're poor, what with the mortgages and the price of skinny lattes, but you don't need to rub it in so often.
Resisted the temptation to choose unfiction names like wicky and babel, or try to make a team of ex derby county players. In the end it came down to excluding brazilians. You see we know how to manage budgets in yorkshire. Oh the NHS you say. Don't worry we'll always bail you out.
Once gave someone a few wedding present albums for his wedding present. Think he would have preferred the fondue set.

Needless to say, I hope the Umpires do well.

He got a brace as well. I'd be suprised if you weren't the early front runner-despite one of them gettign a goal for me, I'm a bit worried about having two German defenders. They looked a bit shakey.

Poland were terrible.

I think I should change the title of this thread.

Poland were shocking. And Germany seem to be the complete opposite of their usual setup - fairly tasty going forward, and really badly organised at the back.

I'm second? Geez folks - do you guys not know ANYTHING about football?! I've never even heard of any of my team.

OK, it may be more to do with having had a german on the front line more than anything else. Smile
