Watch, just watch: it's going to be at Jones Beach (the Somnotherapy dead end), buried in the sand, and, even though I live 10 minutes away, I won't win.

It could be in the middle of the sahara desert, away from an "accidental find".

Yes, the only way to make it 'fair' ([TIAG], natch) for all the players is to make it equally remote and difficult to get to for everyone.

However, if it was buried somewhere remote, it would have to be somewhere that it would be entirely safe and stable - drifting sand-dunes, melting glaciers, quake-hit areas and so on are all probably not viable locations...!

Well I rather hope it's buried somewhere in Iceland. I'd love another holiday in Reykjavik!

And winning the £100,000 would just about pay for a round.

Personally I think there are four or more "cubes", some are decoys and one "real" one from a story point of view. But so people all the parts of the world playing have a fair chance of winning without spending hundreds to fly all over the world in the hopes of finding it. Although a trip to the sahara sounds good...

Just remember locust, after packing the kitchen sink, pack your JCB aswell, you're going to need it, 9 million square kilometers is alot of sand to cover.
