 		Following what dmon_man said about mixing through UK crosswords, I mixed "sunrise" and "groan" together and searched for possible anagrams of places in the anagrams I got...unfortunately the best I could see it offered me on the search engine was

surgeons iran
assuring reno
reunion grass
russian negro

And I don't think they're any help Sad

ETA: East Orange County is in Florida (Orlando area), so that may support my theory, I may be just blowing smoke though, since it is Orlando Confused

In 1969, a group of American Indians from many different tribes, calling themselves United Indians of All Tribes (many were relocated to the Bay Area under the federal Termination program), occupied the island, and proposed an education center, ecology center, and cultural center. During the occupation, several buildings were damaged or destroyed, including the recreation hall, Coast Guard quarters, and the Warden's home. A number of other buildings (mostly apartments) were destroyed by the U.S. Government after the occupation had ended. After 18 months of occupation, the government forced them off. But the end of Termination and the new policy of self-determination were established in 1970 as a direct result of the occupation. Today American Indian groups, for example the International Indian Treaty Council, hold ceremonies on the island. Most notable is Columbus Day and Thanksgiving Day when they hold a "Sunrise Gathering".

theory since that seems to be right but I've got no idea what these symbols mean! I can't seem to figure them out. Also for some reason I've got it stuck in my head that the month is June even though I'm pretty sure I made that up.

Can you tell me what you've already tried?

If you'd like I'll try to help you by walking you through the steps I took to finish the quest. Maybe that will help you with not only this quest but with others.

I'm both Stencher and dmonman in the game. Do you think it's illegal to have more than one character?

I just captured AngBa!! Why were you only a ghoul and how in the hell did you get so powerful?

If you could do that it would be awesome. I've been working with the moon phase calendar here http://stardate.org/nightsky/moon/ and I'm totally lost.

I've tried:

The circle means it must be march, so look for the new moon in March 2007. Didn't work.

The circle means it must be the 28th, so look for when there's a new moon on the 28th of a month in 2007. Couldn't find one.

I have a feeling I'm wrong to get so hung up on what the circle means, but I'm convinced that the inside symbol tells you what month, and the outside symbol is either the day or the phase or something.
