The origins of Cascade Vortex

Yes, it's not a thing created by PMs, but it's just copied from a computer game called Sam & Max...

In the game u need to go there (It's called Mystery Vortex) to Catch a piece of the vortex to use it somethere else (don't remember where).

Anyway.. here's a screen of the Mistery Vortex from Sam & Max:

And, most important, the geographical location of it... Just in the same place as the ARG one!

C ya!!

The Cascade Vortex is based on the Oregon Vortex. I'm pretty sure the makers of Sam and Max also based their vortex on the one in Oregon, since it has been a famous landmark for decades.

On October 31, 2003 The Oregon Vortex will be on the NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw.

The Oregon Vortex will be featured on Inside Edition on October 30, 2003.

This might (and I'm not dismissing the Matrix idea) but might be something that supports the idea that this is a Paranormal ARG. If you recall, mlo's Metadex list, Holloween is in blue (October 31) which makes that date something special for some reason. (unless the "blue Halloween" thing at mlo's inbox has been solved. Please tell me it hasn't)

I may be reaching for straws but I'll be planning on watching the News that night (that is if we don't go out to a haunted house, then I'll just tape it)

EDIT: Ah, man, I'm jumping to conclusions, and I don't wanna do that.

2nd EDIT: I am in no way saying this is part of the game. LOL. I'm betting it's not. I'm just saying it's probably a funny coincidence and in its similarities might lie some clues. And this is just me doing it. I'm not encouraging this.

No. You're wrong. Wink

There are dozens of these mystery vortex-type sites on the west coast. Just because one appeared in a game once doesn't mean that game is hiding clues. IMO, no use in even looking.
