Pirates Vs. Ninjas Competition Results!

We've spent ages marking your emails, verifying the results, and been surprised at some of the cards people thought we had done, that we hadn't. We have a winner. He got more correct cards than anyone else, and had them all in the right order, and beautifully formatted...
But before the winner, here's the markscheme:
Quote:
> • 13th Labour <Fivecows Productions>
> • Out On A Limb <Ninja in a tree>
> • Weighs and Means <Seesaw>
> • XXX <Pirates and Ninjas in Noughts and Crosses formation>
> • Double Vision <By the fountain, hey, it's a mirror image, guys!>
> • Bar None <Phone box, calling Violet>
> • Weighs And Means (we took the first appearance as correct) <Seesaw>
> • Barbecue <Me tied to tree, being prodded by implements>
> • Bar None (we took the first appearance as correct) <Phonebox>
> • Turnabout/ Spin Cycle <Roundabout>
> • Interval/Interlude (not needed/expected as part of the answer)
> • Turnabout/Spin Cycle (we took the first appearance as correct) <Roundabout>
> • Cruel and Unusual <Hats & Charlie>
> • Going Underground <"Yarr, Prepare to be boarded!>
> • Weighs and Means (we took the first appearance as correct) <Seesaw>
> • Taking The Biscuit <Biscuits in happy meal boxes>
> • Mind The Gap <On the ground when the Ninjas dismount the train>
> • Taking The Biscuit (we took the first appearance as correct) <Ninjas take biscuits>
> • Sadako Sasaki <Crane held up to camera>
> • Whipsmart Birthday <Queue outside ice-cream shop>
> • Weighs And Means (we took the first appearance as correct) <Now groaning seesaw>
> • Vexillogy/Broadside <Flags>

We decided not to include Pirates Vs. Ninjas as an answer, as it was the whole video.

And the winner is...REASON!

Surely not? I spotted at least 10 other cards in there, even though the makers may not have realised it! Confused What on earth were those ninja's doing by the ice cream van other than considering (serious chin tapping going on there) a spherical world (millennium wheel)? Confused

And what was the gnome/elf doing waiting outside the phone boxes (Jaunty Paul?)? Or the confused blubbing ninja on the roundabout (queen quandry?)? Is there a list of answers, frame by frame?

Maybe I spent too much time at Uni writing bullshit essays on what I though Plato was thinking rather than what the lad was actually thinking himself! Embarassed

Hey ho! Well done Reason! Very Happy And nice comp Pirates/Ninjas! Very Happy

Yes...yes he is.

And what was the gnome/elf doing waiting outside the phone boxes

Firstly, I have no idea why that was bar none. It seemed like a bad idea at the time. Secondly, and possibly more importantly...screw you! Wink

I smell a rat - clear evidence of collusion and bribery here between winner and competition setters. Shocked

Plus open hostility to a potential whistleblower. Shocked

There's something rotten in this thread - I call for a full public inquiry. Mad

I'm just sad. Sad It's been a tough week. Unfairly dumped below doublecross on the leaderboard, my fantasy football team is rubbish, no Wave 4 in June, that tragic story in the sentinel about the poor mushroom that got eaten. Sad

I'd really set my heart on the prize haul to cheer me up, (particularly the

super sekrit "brilliant top prize!"
), but have been cruelly denied again by some dubious West London conspiracy. I even live in west london which is even worse, stitched up on my own doorstep Sad The grapes are more than sour, they are just a vinegary mess mixed in with my tears. Sad

Maybe a good kick up the arse would cure me of this pathetic self-pity. Nice diagnosis and prescription, Doc. Wink

This kicking is self-administered. No anaesthetic. No golden boots. No Doctor Duckie. Apparently there's a 2 year waiting list as well.

NHS cutbacks. Rolling Eyes
