Max Steele actually sent me a good hint for that puzzle.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The answer is in the clue.

Madiera Have you heard the song yet?
Listen to the song he sings and write down any numbers and/or letters you hear.

Pretty Consuming... I am not usually a puzzle fan, but this chase from Bermuda to Madiera to Tropic of Cancer to St. Helena has been very entertaining and quite a challenge.
It took me FOREVER to find all of the shards of pottery underwarter. What did the hint mean in tropic of Cancer? "Scull shows Secret Course?" The scull shows off some red writing, as aptly pointed out above, but none of that would have helped me solve the Tropic of Cancer puzzle...
Can't wait for the 16th to arrive. I will have to clear my calendar.
Driven.

Not as simple as it looks.. Got a map from the volvo dealer..
Put in the password..S1L73R
Sent off my Email addy..
Got the first clue
Rolled the dice till I got double six...
Put in SEA on the solution card....
Went on to the Sargasso sea clip and grabbed the floating bottle..
was taken to a beach where I dug up a piece of pottery with a number 5 on it....
Dug up a box with a bottle of wine in it...MDXVIII on the label..took this to be 1518.
The screen froze at this point ...I press next location on top of page which took me to page that wants a map referance....
I have used the second clue from second Email...the skull showed collect through its eyes...used this on the solution card and was taken once again onto sargasso sea ...
Am going round in circles folks...any help would be great...am never going to win the car but I would like to get a little further lol
Cheers.....Dave

If the screen froze after you dug up the bottle of wine, make sure you're using the latest version of Internet Explorer, along with the latest version of Flash.
I doubt they are going to support Firefox or any other 3rd party browser for this game.
The second clue has to do when you get to a location that is two away from where you are now.

another hint - the box with the bottle. there is more than the bottle in the box.

After you dig up the bottle of wine, go to the bottom left corner of the box, where the wine is spilled. Your curser should turn into a drop. Use the drops to wash the label on the bottle.

broken pottery stumping me Ok I think I found all the broken pieces of pottery, found the hint -collect-entered that in the solution but don't see the correlation with the pottery. I tried entering a longitude & latitude from the pottery (into the next dest.) but got it wrong, then I lost all my broken pottery. I'll be damned if I am going hunting for all those pieces again! I got seasick last time! Come on someone give me the coordinates from the pottery, please!

Need Long & Lat Does anyone have the Longitude & Latitude? The best I can figure is that the piece of pottery is: . . . 5 = 0005 and the wine bottle's date of 1518. Let's all work together, who knows, we can all meet on that island looking for the XC90 on that last day.

Learning to like the bull in the china shop The pottery has to be the most aggrevating so far. Did all of the others on my own but the pottery is getting to me right now - anyone have a clue on this one?

(TROPIC OF CANCER) I got all of the pottery I could find but still coming up one digit short - the skull spells out COLLECT from the sea to the source but don't get the rest - anyone have a clue other than showing the creator of this one a nude picture of Hillary Clinton as torture ??? The other was involving a hundred gallon vat of alchol with 2 million razor blades floating in it, more humane.
