i'm stuck with the numbers on the ladder.....haven't got a clue what to do with them

tried a few different formula's and guess's, but nope....nothing's working.

So... each time you refresh or go back to St. Helena...

the numbers no the ladder change, at least for me they do.

I compared each number in order from bottom to top starting with

--> 35 with is common each time and the rest of the number vary.

I did this three times and each time was different...

Hopefully the coordinates will be the same.

Hi all, thought I would join in with your online chat if you don't mind Smile

. A friend and myself started to work on this game the day after it started and so far we seem to be muddling through ok. But have looked at the numbers on the ladder every way up and down but nothing seems to make sense.
Have the marks on the cliff face noted, but cannot find any more!

The last line of the quote is "The Tempest always runs you down" but as numbers on ladder rungs change each time it doesn't matter if you count up or down.

same here, I've no idea how to "count" the ladder numbers, nothing I've tried seems to work.

I can confirm that the numbers are different each time you load it up though. try it yourself in 2 different browsers, the sequence starts with ->35 and 7-7 then changes.

in my sequences the first digit is almost always significantly smaller than the second (when it's not a compass direction)

I've tried reading it as a sequence, so :
S - 15
N - 68
7 - 45
8 - 90
7 - 7
-> 35
would be (35 + 7 + 7 + 8 + 90 + 7 + 45) North. then 68 South.
etc etc, all the way to the top. this doesn't work though.

can anyone give a nudge in the right direction?

Not sure if I've missed something really obvious but how do you climb the ladder and get the numbers? I've clicked on the ladder and got 35 but then I can't go any further!!!

I have 2 screens on the beach at the moment and if I move up each ladder the first 3 numbers dont change but after that they are different. So maybe you got the answer on your first trip to St Helena.

kaosss - the numbers do change

stealth - you grab the ladder and drag it.........this will move you up and down.
