Thought I'd give you all a giggle and post my version that I managed to bang together in a most cumbersome manner using MSPaint AND a pesky notebook sctratchpad... It's like some roman bath-house excavation gone wrong!!!

I'm impressed. The process was well worked out by sixsidedsquare (and well spoilered BTW!), and nice work by Padge on the script. I'm really going to have to raise my game to keep up with you guys...!

Great solve!
I thought the Heliotrope on the back was a clue and the two labels were points of rotation, so I wrapped an elastic band around the card, wound it up, wound it too tight and the card crumpled like tissue paper! Embarassed
