Hey, new to board.

I have been working on this game and reading the threads and came across something odd in the past few hours.

I was also stuck on the 0112 coordinates and when entered it would send me to a page not found url. Now it sends me to

http://thehunt.volvocars.net/pagenotfound.htm?path=http://thehunt.volvocars.net:80/us/WAIT

with the word WAIT in there.

for those who were having problems with the pulau site earlier, it appears to be working correctly now.

Most people who are 'playing along' with this game don't realize that you need a valid passport to be a finalist. Those who don't have a passport should note that it will take from 2-6 weeks to get a new/expired passport processed, depending on how much you are willing to pay.

I happen to find this site extremely helpful for the hints and tips, as not all of the 'answers' posted are correct. Sometimes people are missing a number or a word. For the most part I've been able to figure it out by myself, or with the help of my friends irl.

Keep up the good work guys, and if you need help, don't hesistate to ask questions. Someone surely can HELP you get caught up....

ALSO. if you are playing the game, be sure you have a physical copy of the map from a VOLVO dealership, as copies will not be accepted, and you must have it in hand to be a finalist.

Worked through lunch and dinner here and finally made it to Pulau Jong - now just waiting until the 21st. Fun so far and took a while to figure that one out - kept missing that "1" on the far corner tree. How did everyone else do?

Consider this for this particular clue:

Where equally the winds collide
The needle is our only guide

I found while playing with the compass on the primary map page, there are several locations on the map where the compass does not point due North. Perhaps this is where they refer to the needle is our only guide. I'll have to play around and see what I can come up with

Ok I entered the Codeword and tried to continue on at Pula Jong but it tells me I need th keyword to continue the hunt.

I am in the US... just wondering if anyone has made it to the island?
