Where ex-players go.

Frankie Roberto. Anyone remember him knocking about last year?

I've known Frankie (on a very-casual-acquaintance sort of level) since about 2002 or so - we both used to be on h2g2 and attend their occasional meetups, and being on good terms with the staff members there was presumably either the foot in the door or the inspiration for him getting on board at the Beeb.

Hopefully he didn't write that bit. Wink Can't say I've heard of him, seems like an interesting project though.

OK, so it's an experience for a 'citizen' journalist......as long as you're citizen who has mates at the Beeb. They seemed to sell the idea as an outreach program to help disadvantaged journalist in a trendy-socialist-sort-of-a-way, rather than a scheme which gives their mate a bit of a jolly while getting down with the kidz by writing about blogs and wikis. Laughing
