Attack of the Show

Really quick I was watching AOTS on the G4 and they had someone from 42 entertainment on asking if viral advetisement is harmless or dangerous. Strange that those were the only choices.

The 42 guy was cool. He said that what he dose was not viral but immerstion advertising, and that there is nothing wrong that an advertisment be entertaining.

They then showed some screen shots of I LOVE BEES and I think they showed the forums. WE ARE STARS!

I am sorry I can't remember more. Anyone else catch it?

Was this a repeat of the AOTS when Elan Lee was on?

The Loop: Viral Marketing
Posted by sjohnson - Tuesday, June 20, 2006 1:51 PM

We're all familiar with viral marketing: Those little flash games or movies that are super-fun...until you find out they're stealth advertisments. Tonight on The Loop, we're taking a look at the trend of hidden commercials on the net with the help of experts. Real, live experts!

Joining us are Ben Poken, the editor of consumer site the consumerist blog, Jordan Weisman of 42 Entertainment who created the I Love Bees ARG the internet was so het up about a few years ago, and Keith Richman, CEO of viral video site Break.com.

The panel was pretty unanimous that the most important thing about viral ads is compelling content.
