[SPECULATION] Final location? All,
I'm a 50 year old guy who has worked on these "Armchair Hunts" probably at least 15 to 20 since 1983, long before the advent of the World Wide Web..
My sincere hope is that, the winners of this hunt will be true Puzzle Solvers, not Hackers..
Here is my cotribution, the Ads etc. which show a Tropical environ are all a ruse, Red Herring if you will, it's probably in Sweden...

Thanks for voicing your concerns (again), but please, PLEASE, as it is the third time now, read and follow the posting guidelines to prevent the forum from filling up with superfluous and illogically named threads that only serve to confuse the other posters.
I'll leave this topic open as a thread to speculate about the final location of the game, as that was what you were trying to contribute to the discussion after all...

If you have access to a globe or a "virtual globe/world map" and you plot all the coordinates thus far....it does conjure some interesting speculation as to where the Hunt will end up......we have almost come full circle!

Sorry if you misunderstood my previous post...I meant that the hunt started at Port Royal, Jamaica and the last island "Little Diomede" is just off the coast of Alaska. So we are not far from completing a circle.
Ammended to say my above theory is wrong , since Isla Mas A Tierra (the next destination) is off the coast of Chile (I think).
As for the "left handed drive".... if you mean the steering wheel is on the left side (as you are facing the car)....cars in many European countries are that way too.

Oh I see, yes then by what you are saying we have
indeed almost come full circle!
I had misread the post and it looked as though you had
differing coordinates. Which would not be a bad thing to
share a different idea, or knowledge of clues to other
destinations. I just figured I was not "seeing" something
there...
Thankyou

Are we sure e know what they mean by "left hand drive"? Does it mean a car configured for countries that drive on the left, or does it mean card where the steering wheel is on the left (as you're sitting in it) which is for countries where you drive on the right? And not sure why the configuration would have a role in where the car is buried since it won't be staying there...

Full Cirlce to the final location? Boy, wouldn't that just be dirty to have us go full circle to where we initially began Still, I have narrowed down to three possibilities on my own (in my own mind, I should say). I am hypthosizing that it can/will be Jamaica, Bahamas or Gran Canarie. Its not entirely a guess as, numbers I plugged fit. I highly recommend for anyone who has not, to download Google Earth and use the search capability to plug grids #'s.

I would think it is being specific to the vehicle so, the driveside is on the left. I don't think this plays one iota into hints though. As previously stated, who's to say where the truck ends up? I don't know which side Japan drives on...
We have right-driveside vehicles in the States too, they are just a little more uncommon now. You can go down and get a test/license for driving a vehicle with the steering on the opposite side at any US DMV. I would imagine that UK is the same.

They do not have this feature in the UK they just assume that if you can drive a car on 1 side that you can drive on the other. After all there is not much difference, the pedals and road rules are the same so it is just up to the driver to get practice driving on the other side. Although I do find it a bit weird!

final place One thing for sure. We will NOT be able to guess the final destination or lat/long numbers until the final clue is given. If we could guess beforehand then the preceding puzzles would be a waste of cerebral efforts by the competition team and they will want to make it very hard ( as stated) otherwise thousands will send in answers at the same or similar times. Speculate all you want, but I or you will never guess. I would also suggest that the final answer will be slightly more complex than those before. Although along with certain newspaper suggestions, Elvis driving the Volvo has been spotted on the Moon!!

well Since I wont win this contest anyways, I think I'll tell ya'll where I think its buried.
Disney has an island that they sail to, I forget the name of it. I believe its near the bahamas. Anyways, the map looks just like the island.
I think they also filmed some of the movie there.
Castaway Cay or something like that...
Castaway Cay is a private island or "out island" in the Bahamas which serves as an exclusive port of call for the Disney Wonder and her sister ship the Disney Magic. The island, located at 26°05′N 77°32′W and formerly known as Gorda Cay, is owned entirely by the Walt Disney Company in contrast to the eight islands leased by other cruise lines for similar purposes. This makes it easy for the company to control all aspects of the "show" put on by the "cast" or employees. The post office even has special Bahamas Disney stamps.
fyi...google it and stare in amazement!

your answer ToooooooooSimple!!!!!
and
T0000000000000 Obvious!!!
If I was the puzzle creator that is exactly what I would want all those Disney cruise people to think and everybody else.
If it was the answer then Disney need shooting for such a stupid location.
Is anybody that daft? No, do not answer that because I can think of a few politicians who may just be the puzzle creators.
