I just tried dropping down to 800 x 600 & YES it is all clearer, but i still cannot get an X and an O in the eyes at the same time! frustrated now!!

With regards to the direction (N, S, E or W) look for shapes of debris on the beach. I'm a bit stuck with the numbers though - thinking maybe it's got something to do with the groups of rocks/sticks/coconuts?? Does anyone know?

you simply have to count things. there are pretty obvious things. basically, you will end up with another coordinate, the letters, n s e w, are spelt as wellto form the coordinate, find them on the screen, then find four numbers either side - and voila - the next place (cape horn)

if this is the case surely there are things around that couldn't have just been there through the forces of nature.
