 		If you go to lycgy.com and hover your mouse over the location of the "Persephone/WTK" image, that now brings up the compass image too. Click, and you'll be asked for a name and password for http:www.letyourcompassguideyou.com/admin

so I guess we need the name/pw for her next video!

Added info: there's an update in /usr/trash!

 		wow they lagged updating, none of that was there when she updated her blog, even after refreshing a few times.

Ok found it I was looking through the features of the jeep and its in the interior section under the flashlight in the back of the vehicle http://www.jeep.com/en/compass/interior.html
I know so much about the Jeep Compass now, funny though I still don't want one.

Looks like Rachel is in trouble.

Just to be more specific, you have to 'view demo' for the Removable Flashlight in the Interior/In the Back features on the Compass page. (boy, won't this confuse prospective buyers!)

Okay so the /admin/ thing didn't lead to the video, but Oli on unfiction chat figured out that if you enter "wtk" as the name and "themouthpiece" as the password for the new login at lycgy.com, you'll have access to http://www.letyourcompassguideyou.com/admin/.

Inside there's a /my_docs folder that contains the same "wtk_mov" video that we've already seen.

I don't know what it all means.

 		Exactly why are they perpetuating this "It's an island by the equator?" myth when the pictures are clearly from Thunder Bay?!

They aren't exactly; Rachel is. This little ditzypoof who searched databases of records to try to find where Mittelwerk's degree is from, but who hasn't made the Mittelwerk/Nazi connection most of us did in the first days of the game. Rachel is the one that first put forth this equator idea because she fancies that she saw more than the camera - possibly justifying the mind-numbing stupidity of her "put on a wig and bump into him" move in the first place.

She is where the equator idea originated, and she's sticking with it. Rachel strikes me as the quintessential "unreliable narrator." We can get plenty of info from her, but it probably won't be what's coming out of her mouth as the big truth.

 		Ugh, this Blake girl is really getting on my nerves. Perhaps if I were a guy she would be better suited.

I do agree with curiouscat, as well as thinking those videos are planned out in advance, not to change because we've discovered something. Unless there's a big hole.

Here's my spec concerning this 'equator' business. These videos were presumably produced well in advance of their implementation within the game. It seems possible that the PMs didn't expect for us to identify the location of the island before this latest update. And so, Rachel is still blathering on about the equator because that's what the original script called for.

Of course, that just begs the question of why they didn't just do a little additional creative editing to remove the 'equator' bit but leave everything else in. The video already shows signs of odd edits and missing sound.. a little more wouldn't have mattered.

 		Hey all, new poster here, love this forum – especially love the lack of off-topic conversations!

I'm wondering if anyone has explored the file name of the jeep picture from this Rachel update. It is: "139191991471518711419". This is NOT the code for "the mouth piece", I tried that in the dec/char box. (It is my recollection that when this picture was originally posted, its name was decoded as "the mouth piece").

My question is, does anyone have a good idea how these numbers should be segmented to come up with meaningful text?

If this is redundant, I apologize! Smile
