I'm not sure where everybody sees 4 passports. I see 5.
[edit] Never mind... sorry... I deleted the attachment too. I guess there are 4, and I need glasses [edit]

yeah, that one passport just has a different crease where the cover opens compared to the others.
I was looking at the flight information on that screen, where it notes our Niehoffer guy as flying round trip between Chicago and Hawaii. His flight itinerary number is 4359966466.
If you use a telephone dial, you can see that it spells out I-FLY-WONGMO
Code:
IFLYWONGMO
4359966466
I'm sure it is NOT a clue, but just the PMs hiding an Easter Egg for us.

No kidding?!

But maybe that warrants further investigation?
Let's take an inventory of the stuff on the desk.
1. 4 US passports
2. 4 stamps (+ 2 folded under)
3. A calculator
4. A lease agreement with Honolulu estates realty management.
5. An AmericanExpress statement (Acct # ending in 006, and dated 09/26/2003 - haha, Beth's birthday)
6. An Old Navy card statement
7. A hand-written note with "MR. Le" on it
8. A folded page
7. A "ticket receipt". The total appears to be $4277.12 (and the tax rate is ~ 4%; Illinois' tax rate is 6.25%, Hawaii's is 4%). The purchase is actually made on Sept. 7; that's 5 days before Wongmo even announced his retreat here .
I think this amount^ includes something other than the cost of the flight from Chicago to Honolulu - you can buy tickets from Chicago to Hawaii online for around $600-$800; even 1st class tickets you can book for around 2 grand a month in advance (direct from airline - <$3K). So the rest could be the $$ in the "lease agreement". At first I thought this was a payment for Wongmo's retreat, but Wongmo wants his dolphin-seekers to live in the Ekela Hotel. And the retreat is Oct. 11 - oct. 18.
Some more random, unhelpful information.
Arnold returns to Chicago on Oct. 22, Phil goes home from his trip on Oct. 21st. "Mr. Le" and the stuff filled in on the lease agreement seems to be written by 2 different people (look at "M"s and "E"s).
If it was Phil that found this stuff, then he has to have found it in Hawaii - because he uploaded all of this to his Metadex on the 22nd, and on the 21st he wasn't home yet. I don't know anyone who goes on a trip and brings their bills with them, so those bills probably came to a "Hawaii" address (plus there is an edge of AMEX' pre-paid mass-envelope (the one that the bill must have come inside of) in the trash can in a few of those jpgs). Wongmo does not seem to live in Hawaii (his newsletter says "back home from the retreat" or something like that). It seems to me like somebody who lives in Hawaii paid the ticket and lodging for Arnold from Hawaii.

sam's signature Why is the signature missing? Is it a coincidence?
In PA220109-HI.JPG we can see "erson" on a piece of paper. Could it be the ending of the name?

well his name aint sam is it? surely not lol, it looks like a signature, a sig isnt usually ur first name, so it must be his initials...must be S.A.M, so maybe his last name is Merson?
If it is his first name and not his initials (which id put money on that it is his initials) then maybe his name is Sam Anderson? Neo's dad? lol gimme a break

The ticket receipt... how much was the receipt attached to the sheismissing picture on Marcus' 'dex for? Just listing that amount there jogged something in my memory Yanka...
Maybe it's my overdue 'phone bill... but it might just be something game-related...

What if it's Ryan Emerson who is now Ethan? [CRAZY SPEC]What if Wongmo is a reprogrammer?!?!?!? That's why Wongmo is so happy with Dina's progress as one of his "students"!!![/SPEC]
Maybe that's a little too crazy to be possible.

No, that makes sense...although, if Ryan wrote the letter, why would he change his and his wife's names, and not his last name? I don't know about that, but Wongmo...yeah. I suspect that's what may have happened to Phil when he began to dig too deeply into Kane/Wongmo's stuff...

Well, I think it's fairly obvious, at least to me, that Emerson is Ethan. Why else would he have a note in his handwriting pointing to CDs that contain Emerson's marraige certificate, driver's license, and SSN? Seems to me it's his own personal "time capsule". As Emerson, he knew that the stuff he was getting into would require archival. But I think this archival was intended for someone else to find should something happen (perhaps he feared for his life).
But your "crazy spec" - it makes sense and is very plausible, Bakntime...
We've always known that something fishy was up with Wongmo, either be it con artist, evil person, spy, whatever. But I like the idea that he's just brainwashing/reprogramming people. After all, his "students" do seem to be way to into him. If this were the case, then WHY is Wongmo reprogramming individuals? Obviously Ethan has been in some really wierd situations before (read: Contact with an Agent, but I prefer to play this game as if I knew nothing about the Matrix - I think its more mysterious that way). Perhaps he was reprogrammed in order to forget that his contact with this entity ever too place?
Of course, that brings up issues as to why Wongmo is doing this, and perhaps who for?
