 		Hi!

I was just wandering and doing my own research of Eon8 in the net and I found this forum. This is quite interesting, me and my friend have been wondered Eon8 for now one day. And here are the ideas we have come up with:

1) The map in the "Development Tracker" basically shows where ppl are browsing the site.

2) Eon is a another meaning for Aeon which means Age, I guess everyone knew that. Pure latin. Eon, Aion(Greek), Aeon

3) The site doesnt have a host (Geocities, Angelfire etc..), atleast we didnt find any from the javascript, my friend tried to mess around a bit with it.

4) I think the clock is using ISO-8601 timebinary, ISO-8601 is the time coding or something, cant really expalin it. GOOGLE IT!! Im not American, Australian, Irish or Brittish. Im from Finland, give me a break... Well anyway.. It kind of checks the time which you have in your computer, checks the GMT also and cracks it to the site and shows it, but im not sure about this one.

5) The site is creeping us out! Shocked

eon8.com translates to:

f4.f5.1243.static.theplanet.com

meaning they host off theplanet.com which probaly owns ips 67.18.245.* also these are the songs last played on the SHOUTcast:

doubt they mean anything but they way this has been going it could help Razz.

The time on the home page is synced to the server so even if you set your time forward down to the last 10secs and watch it count down it will get to 00:00:00:00 and then hang for a sec or two and reset itself back to what time it is ment to be (server set time).

the whole thing on the /secure well that is a ip logging sorta thing but the first couple are static e.g. the whole .mil ips and such are placed there. But the spam at the bottom of the page i am pretty sure isnt ment to be there Razz hence the half ip logging / referal logging.

oh and for anyone who cares the nameservers are different on eon5 as to eon8:

Since more "Deployment Logs" are added as the clock ticks down, perhaps they are intiation sequences. The idea that they were code has been pretty well exhausted and worked in the first eight pages of the thread. Also, there seems to be no correlation between the dots and users actual locations. Someone pointed out many of the regions are probably too remote to even have internet access.

My vote? INITIATION SEQUENCE.

I'm a Canadian holidaying in another place right now, anyways, here's what I got when I went to Eon8 last:

-The Destination Map thingy read at 2300 when I last checked. Could 2400 be a cryptic thingy saying that it's ended?
-I'll experiment to open the javascript box if it's still there.
-In my timezone (+12 or 13...), the clock should end round noon or 11 or 1pm. I'll check it out for you guys and see what happens.
