After the deadline, I'll post my puzzle in here so others can try their luck. And when they solve it in less than 15 minutes, go ahead, laugh at me.
no-ones gonna laugh at you - not when I'll probably take 3 times as long! hehe
ciphers - blech - that's the last thing I was hoping the puzzle would be!
I'll get stuck in tonight.

I don't think everyone will be getting 'different puzzles' as such, just different answers?

Well I got the answer in 50 minutes, then as I went to send it I realised i'd messed up and not kept the ticket #'s i'd used, so I had to do the whole blinkin' lot again! grrr (note to self, read instructions carefully in future).
So all told it took me about 80/90 minutes I think.
Chippy said it took him around 50 mins, same as I would have done it in (if i'd kept the ticket info) - so there's the benchmark for anyone who hasn't done it yet.
I hope Six doesn't mind me posting that it took him a whole 21 minutes!! wow
way to go!

not that I could beat 21 minutes anyway I wonder if they give prizes to the person who took the longest. That would be me...... I wrote down the wrong ticket number and had to basically do the whole thing again, of course, I didn't know I wrote the wrong number down so

Below is an encrypted sentence created especially for you. It was
encoded by using ten different ADMIT ONE Ticket numbers from the list that
follows. It has been encrypted in the same manner that the coded
messages on the back of the original GIFT TICKETS in the ADMIT ONE contest
were, by advancing each letter of the word or phrase by the number of
letters in the ticket number digit at the same place. For example, the
phrase MYWORDS and the ticket number 1234567 would yield the encrypted
phrase NAZSWJZ.
Your encrypted sentence is 70 characters long, so one ticket is used
for the first seven letters, another for the letters eight though
fourteen, and so on, to use ten different tickets all together. You need to
determine which of the 48 different ticket numbers will work to make a
readable sentence form the encryption you have been given. Your answer
must include not only the decoded sentence, but also the 10 ticket
numbers you used to do the decryption.
Your encrypted sentence is:
yjhxmluvxtplqihgxcjuxjatyrowwqshixnctucuexyhcnfnjuesmlowlrtctpquaalnur
Here are 48 ADMIT ONE Ticket numbers:
Code:

Edit to add: Not that it matters, but my password was "escape". I didn't keep a copy of the final answer (sorry) and the email account didn't keep a copy of the outgoing message. It was a very frustrating evening for me.

Cedar Point is definitely the best park in the world, I miss living in Ohio and being able to go there any time we felt like it.

Oh wow, I didn't realise we all got different messages to decode. I totally claim the coolest one though:
Quote:
Should you believe what the fortune teller sees in the crystal ball? Do you dare not to?
My codeword for that was 'uncover'.
And just to let you know, although I did it in around 21 minutes, I was silly enough to just send my decoded message. I blame the fact that I was off in another city working on a brother's flatmate's laptop, but really that's just trying to make excuses. The really annoying part is I was keeping the numbers I used in a nice little notepad document that I promptly closed after sending the email. Ah well, 'twas fun to do anyway ^_^
