Re: Collage

Yep, that could fit the general pattern ... but I really hear 'came from' rather than 'control', it's just rushed ... I'm starting to have an idea about why he sounds the way he sounds:

The tricky part is "hand logs" has no hard "d" making it sound like "han logs" or "analogues", but it has an aitch sound which is why I'm steering away from "and logs".

I'm starting to think that breath in the middle is important. At first I thought it was an exhalation, but if that were so, he'd have to pause for an inhalation before continuing to speak (try it ... exhale sharply and try to say something before inhaling Very Happy ). It must be a sharp inhalation ... and he's exhaling as he speaks ... which is why the 'an' becomes a 'han' and he cannot pop the 'd' ... try saying it as he does ... inhale sharply and speak while exhaling. There could be another inhalation after 'logs', we just never get to hear it.

Why would he breathe that way? Why can we hear the inhalation? Maybe he's wearing SCUBA gear, or some kind of mask providing oxygen?

I agree, but in the post I was referring to the line as a whole.

The inflection I was referrring to was in the word "Sure" which is actually what is being questioned. as in "Are your sure? mr Ormond"

Just as side note, you can ask a question with a downward inflection, usually this is done when the person aking the question knows the answer.

That sounds possible... I think that either way, it's clear whoever is talking there is not at all concerned about whats happening in her part of the conversation. Despite talking quickly, she seems to be sure of what she's saying.

Tone of voice

Yeah, it has that sort of 'making a speech' or 'leaving a message' tone, doesn't it? Most people don't take that tone when talking to someone directly, but they do when when they are reading something aloud, dictating, or leaving a voicemail for some.

Immediately after the breathy bloke reports his, there is a quiet mans voice saying something like "Cornica" or "corner cut"

Then just before the klaxon, there's a quavery voice sound, and what I can make out is something like "What are you" or "Lot of you" but it could also be a distortion or something messing with my head Very Happy

Has anyone considered the sound might be distorted because the recording could possibly be taking place in the same room that is filled with water?

Yeah I'm pretty sure its already been said that some of it is from a water filling chamber (at least might be).

So is the only thing we've got to work with at the moment, the fone call, and the oct 1 picture as the current clues/puzzles?

I ran Fada through an acronym finder (i'm sure i'm not the first to do this).
This is what i found:

-Federacion de Argentina Ajedrez (doesn't seem like it fits)
-Fellow of The American Dietic Association (nah)
-Financial Accounting Data Abstract (nope)
-Fine Arts Design and Architecture - Bilkent University
www.art.bilkent.edu.tr/

The last one could be something. It's based in Turkey, which borders Greece, on The Aegean Sea.

I don't think anyone is speaking any foreign languages, however.

If it's .edu, it's probably n.i.g.

That's "Not In Game," for you information. Perhaps that's a term which shouldn't be acronymed.

Well, give it back. My uncle still has my nose, and I'm getting pretty sore about it.
