Using extra numbers I have messed with map.google.com to input the coordinates using the extra numbers we have so far which are
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
_ _ 55n771 _ _
I have used all the possibilities which are 01 - 99 for the first two missing sections and 0-9 for the next missing space and E or W for the last section and Jamacia is the most likely place that I have found so far.
Looking at Jamacia it does not look like the map but the U.S. don't look nothing like the other map on the flip side of the hunt map.
Jamacia does though have the Blue mountians and Crow mountian.

i think its on the disney lot in central florida. i was watching the commercial at a frends house, whose father just happened to notice the palmetto trees in the background, only native to florida. plus its totally plausible seeing as disney has more land than most city's in florida.
the map does look abit like a map of north america... could be...

I have to disagree here. The palmettos are not native to florida alone. They run from as far North as North Carolina down and are also found throughout the Bahamas. I do not see the distinct palmettos you are refering to in the ads, unless I am missing something.
I am leaning towards lightwave's guess at Castaway Cay. 1000 acres is enough space to hide something on an island you control. I might add that, control over your own island would protect from anybody being able to find the truck ahead of time. As far as some thinking the hole would fill with water; there are areas on this island where they could dig a hole to suffice and still remain over sea level.

Final Location I also think, since the theme is "Caribean" that it would be fitting to have it in this area. The only thing I would worry about is being on a small island during the peak hurricane season, looking for a buried truck, in the Bermuda triangle...

LOL, just a touch of cynicism in that enygma: trying to weed out meak folk who might not have factored that into the equation yet...
I don't use Ursa for nothing (I still have the mauled backpack from my last bear encounter. Just a small one tho, only 350ish lbs)

Final Location I don't mind giving this out because, I'm not finding anything difinitive in it. I found this pic somewhere and questioned it's integrity. I found it is authentic and, if you look very closely in this vid (pause @ 00:45) you will see that we now have P&H Mining Services.
HUGE link
This reinforces my theory that someone was used to guarantee the hole would not fill with water but, that is about all. Since their located worldwide it still leaves the remaining question.
[EDIT] Changed the link into linked text, as it was stretching the forum --Giskard

just been on another site, and a chap there "says" he was a holiday on a island in the caribean, and one night he saw in the distance a hole being dug and lots of lights, etc etc.. now when weeks later he saw the add for the hunt, it all clicked as to what was goin on... have looked at the island and it looks nowt like the map.. but who knows, it could show just part of the island.. anyway the name of the island is aruba.......

Aruba? Not to be cold but, if he saw digging and lights in Aruba they could have been looking for Natalie Holloway...

has anyone googled these places on the hunt map.....? well i have and you want to try it too .. you would think by doing this one would come up with atleast afew ideas for where the island is, where the car is buried, but no nothing leads to any island... so this leads me to think.. if there is no island with all these place names on it, then why should the island look anything like the hunt island... and is it a island, why not a mainland... anybody have any comments on my thoughts......!

Has anyone noticed how all the coords are just a bit off (not as accurate as they could be)?
Has it occured to anyone that they may be using celestial navigation coords instead of a GPS.....that is the way the pirates would have to have done it.
Has it also occured to anyone that maps from several hundred years ago look nothing like the maps of today. So as far as trying to find a "real island" with the basic shape/characteristics of the "hunt map island" are slim at best.
Could also be that the "hunt map island" really isnt a "real" island.....it could be totally fictious or a compliation of many "real" islands.
Just some of my random thoughts on the subject
