[DISCUSSION] Small print in the games' rules

Hi Everyone!

We were trying to play for real until all this fighting about the rules started and my partner Dan thought he'd give them another read through.

"In the event that a Finalist does not appear in attire approved by the Promoter,"

We're interested to know what clothing is approved by volvo, no-one wants to dig up a car in their Sunday best! The rules don't state what is and what isn't approved, I'm guessing nudists will be disqualified, but what about everyone else?

"By accepting a Finalist Prize, a Finalist Prize Winner accepts the inherently dangerous nature and risk in traveling on this trip and participating in the Event, including the risk of personal injury, disfigurement and/or death"

This was the bit that put us off, what does the final leg involve that it is inherently dangerous and may led to death!?

We're going to carry on and solve the puzzles for fun and for the challange, but we're not ready to die for a volvo! (Now a Aston Martin, maybe!)

In the finalist prize the person will be given clothing with Volvo stamped all over it for publicity when the TV cameras are on you!

Im assuming this is because the island that the person will be sent to will probably have dangerous creatures like spiders and snake and possibly cliffs. So they are covering themselves in the case that something might happen.

Other specs

Personnaly, I liked the part about- " Any person who has been convicted in a court of law or entered a plea of guilty or no contest to any felony or any crime involving moral turpitude, dishonesty or theft, or who has been convicted in a court of law or entered a plea of guilty or no contest to Driving While Intoxicated within the 10-year period prior to June 12, 2006 will not be eligible to win."
