Yes - ben - i'm aware they were already discussed - that's why I edited my post to say NEVERMIND and that they were the same ones as of last night.

As far as the map - yes you do need an official copy to WIN - not to play. It's in the rules. You must bring a paper copy of the map with you when you go digging for the car. The June 26th deadline was for requesting a copy from Volvo's mail if you were unable to get to a dealer. As long as you can get one from a dealer still then you're fine and yes you can still catch up until the actual semi-final opening.

How do they 'suddenly' appear?

They could've been taken down for many reasons - not necessarily that they're legit.

I don't see something like this taking a whole lot of skill to reproduce. I may have a healthy portion of sole tomorrow, but I'm still leaning towards fakes. Confused

I am *gi-normously* suspicious of this last photo with the treasure chest, since the website specifically states there are TWO location puzzles for the semi-finals (see HOW TO HUNT on the official site). Since we are already in Port Royal, I seriously doubt you are going to make it to the treasure chest in the first puzzle. If you look at the tool bar in this photo it says "Bookmark Port Royal".

Hey, I haven't been able to get to a Volvo dealer during the contest, but I have been playing along throughout. Is there anyone with an extra copy of a US map that I could get? I would truly appreciate it. Thanks a ton.
