Well, there is a spot that works. I suggest actually decoding the picture. It'd probably go a lot faster than trying to hit everywhere on the map.

you need to decode the picture and then search on ask.com for it and then you should find the name of a city on the map

yeah but that does not fit in the box
It worked for me. I just typed
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
National Museum of American History

into the box, and it was accepted.

If you try it on Firefox, it will not fit. (EDIT: It didn't for me, but YMMV)

If you try it on Internet Explorer, it fits.

Okay, here is the walkthru for the online game:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Ask.com "Muckers" leads you to Spoiler
Click below to view spoiler
Thomas Edison and his Menlo Park lab (it's next to New York).

Enter Lab

Click on the right side of the lab (the stove) and you move over to the desk. Click on the box of pictographs and then click on the viewer to start it. Advance until you get to Latimer's Code.

Here is a website for decoding Morse Code:
http://www.babbage.demon.co.uk/morseabc.html
CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE

I played the record machine but I don't think it did anything.
Back on the table click on the metal ring on the upper shelf, put it in your backpack.

Click on the stove to the left to get back to the window (I played with the Morse code and the light but I don't think it did anything).
Click on the helicopter in the window to exit the lab. Ask.com with the answer in quotes yields information on the author of the essay. You have to click a little to find out "where" to go.
Concord, MA

Whoops, I think you got put in jail. Click to the far right and look around. Click on the mattress, it moves aside and there are some strings/rope. Grab the rope. I clicked on the newsprint but couldn't read it. I clicked on the shoe and took it along (didn't seem to be needed). Click on the left side to get back to the cell door.

Click on the keys and you get close up. Open your backpack & click on both the ring and the rope. It gets tied together for you and you have to gently toss it towards the keys. Eventually you'll hit the keys and it will drag them to your door.
Click and voila! The door is open.

Look on the table and you'll see a puzzle piece, click on it and you get a closer view. Ta Da!!

As for the answer tonight, I used

There is a readable version of the newspaper online, found funnily enough by typing the headline into ask.com Not sure it gives anything useful at this point though.....

Easy Morse code translator

First off you guys are amazing on the ideas/stuff you are coming up with for this 'puzzle'!

I found this cool Morse Code Translator that you can just type in - (dashes) and . (dots) which will be translated to ABC's for you!

java version: http://morsecode.scphillips.com/jtranslator.html

cgi version: http://morsecode.scphillips.com/translator.html

Hope that helps!

The four clues could lead many different directions. I don't think we will narrow it down to the exact answer until we have all of them.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Right now it looks like the "Treasure" referred to in the first clue could be the original Star Spangled Banner - though I wonder about it 'standing' as it is currently displayed on a wall in the American Museum of Natural History.
All the other clues can be read to fit this as well.

My guess this week:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Fort McHenry. Yes I know the puzzle pieces are of Washington DC. Note that the Star Spangled Banner is the "state" song of Washington. Also the "key" shape of the puzzle which could refer to Francis Scott Key. Also the clues are in present tense as if you were alive at the time the Treasure was created... I don't know. I am not convinced this is right but I think we are getting closer.

I also wonder about the information that we have left over from the past two weeks - the Map of West Point, which disappeared from my inventory and the boot.

I am thinking of playing all the challenges over again to make note of every item included in them.

At this rate, I am thinking only my last guess will be worthwhile. Smile

Can't wait for tonight

Can't wait for tonight's show to see what happens and what we will have to do for the clue. I believe that the final place will be in Washington DC based on the puzzle pieces and how they fit in the box (cross). Does anyone else notice the Masonic symbols used in the book on the desk.

I'm much more interested in the "play at home" stuff than the actual TV show...I'm only watching the TV show at all to root for the slimy Fogols getting eliminated ASAP, and to laugh at the badly photoshopped-in clues for us.

Yeah, the Fogals suck. I don't mind the show, though I'd rather be playing than watching, but it seem well-put-together.
