[EMAIL] from Iris Page July 11 - Items at shop

Email from Iris:

Sandra,

Thank you for your email.

I don't recall seeing any notes about "Idylls of the King", but I will keep
an eye open for them. I'm hoping to put some of the Emporium of the
Weird inventory on the website later tonite. Sam Greene, the webmaster
of the Aglaura website, has promised to help me so hopefully everything
will be finished quickly. Keep an eye on the website!

Saving the library was absolutely the right thing to do. I was proud to cast my vote in support.

Here's the email I sent her:

Hi, Iris,

I've been following your website's development and had
wondered if you might have come across any notes that
Wes made regarding a book called Idylls of the King.
Without going into a very long story, I'll just say that Wes'
book came into my possession some time ago and I
was made aware of some notes that Wes had made
regarding it. I haven't been able to locate these pages.
I'll be watching your site for the items you put up and
maybe they will be there.

And I would like that add a "thank you" from one of the
"outsiders" who found themselves very involved with the
saving of the Aglaura library. It was wonderful that you
and Phyllis were able to get to the meeting.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to seeing what
items you have from Wes.

Sandra

I just got a reply from her as well:

Nahs,

Thank you for your email.

I'm sorry that I've taken so long to send you a response; I've been so
incredibly busy preparing the store that I simply haven't been able to devote
much time to the computer. Sam Greene, the webmaster of Aglaura's website, has
been taking care of most of the website work thus far. I'm hoping to have a
more extensive list of inventory items up on the website soon and should have
some of Wes Keeler's items from the Emporium of the Weird on the site tonite.
If you get a chance, you should really stop by the store and take a look
around!

I saw on your website that you were going through Wes's old stuff, and wondering if there were any CD's available. As you are aware, Wesson Studios is making a film, probably regarding the Jersey Devil, a subject close to the departed.

However, as you can feel, there are strange goings on and vibrations around town, with missing people, suicides, and mask stealings.

So, in the latest clip from wesson studios entitled "History", is a showing of someone rummaging around and selecting CD's, or DVDs for playing in a computer. The covers of the CD were custom with spirally, swirly graphics.

Thank you for your email.

I did hear about a film crew trampling around in the woods. I wasn't
aware that they had released parts of the movie already. Are they showing trailers on the television? I've been so busy with preparations for the store opening that I haven't had time to watch much of anything. Strangely enough, I actually did find a computer CD that sounds like the one you described from the video. Unfortunately, I no longer have it. Before I started to sell off any of Wes Keeler's items, I let a few of his close friends take whatever they needed. Dale Sprague took that computer CD along with some handwritten notes and a bumper sticker.

It does seem that Aglaura has been under a bit of a dark cloud lately, doesn't it? I didn't get a chance to see Miss Wyatt's masks before they were stolen, but I hear they were quite beautiful. I hope that the thief will realize that such an act of desperation - stealing artwork from a public library - cannot lead to a positive result. The karmic debt they will incur is not worth any amount of monetary profit. Hopefully, the thief will realize this on his or her own and return the masks to their maker.
