It's: 66.135.36.45
This ip adresse is metacortex's ip.

Yeah but it was a while back so a reminder can't hurt

Is there any way you can fool the login to make it think that's your ip address? And no, I don't think it's cheating if we were meant to see that address. Maybe we're meant to fool the login sites. Anyone? Hackers?

Not really. You wouldn't get anything back if you did it. You are not on their subnet, so even if you could get your packets through your ISP, you won't be able to do any ARP poisoning or anything like that. The conversation would be one way.

Okay woe. Not a hacker. All I need is: "Not gonna happen." Thank you.

I've been wondering about the various pages that do mention something about ip not being the proper one, and was thinking maybe some of them you could send an extra GET/POST field, or even a cookie that would 'fool it'. something along the lines of &ip=blah&authed_ip=blah... I'm fully aware thats not how things work IRL, but if I was in charge of hiding clues....
So although seq prediction attacks and man in the middle would be cumbersome, and pointless due to the fact that we either:
a) seq prediction would route our return packets to whoever we were spoofing
b) as anthrax said, can't arp spoof because we arent on the same network
that they may have purposely imposed some sort of loophole, unrealistic 'feature' to allow us to 'fake' our address..
But, nothing so far points to this, we get issued session ids, and as far as I know are cookieless otherwise..
Blah, I need more sleep..

We can't try anything untill we find the application.

I really can't see the value of hacking this one on the off-chance. The aquapolis has given us the incident logs, the scrolly picture camera thing and hosted the... what was it, the carelessly files? Too long ago to remember...
Anyway, we've had more out of the Aquapolis than we have out of CascadeVortex, or I'd even go as far as Wongmo. At this point in time, that is.
Jumping back a bit to Miss Strachilds' analysis of the jobs list on the Aquapolis site, you'll note that the only job added is a Janitor. I think then, it's safe to conclude that our drowning man was just the cleaner... Notice how bad stuff always happens to the cleaners? All they want to do is vacuum and dust... they wind up drowning in a room slowly filling with water...

And if you look at the time on those photos and the timestamps on the logs, apparently a manual override of some kind (presumably of the safety walls/seals) was attempted at roughly the same time that the guy was drowning, but the "safeSys" software denied the override

So what's the moral to the story? Don't consider a career in sanitary hygeine...

this dude knew something that he shouldnt have is what i think
I am dreadfully right brained...
did the drowning occur around the same time that scratch said " I guess the fvcking tribe has spoken?
I always wondered what the action was that caused scratch to say that.

That was Caesar. Makes a lot more sense that way, doesn't it? Everyone yells at him and leaves his group, he gets sad...poor Caesar.
