[UPDATE] Mittelwerk commercial on THF.org

The shutdown THF.org site has been changed with new text that reads:

Click here to see a statement by Dr. Werner Mittelwerk, President and Chief Technologist of the Hanso Foundation

The words "Click here" contain a link to the Mittelwerk commercial that we've already seen.

EDIT: Notice that the text reads Werner Mittelwerk, but the commercial tells us that this is Thomas Mittelwerk. What gives?

From what I can see, nothing has changed.

EDIT: Ctrl-F5'd and it worked.

Maybe he goes by only his middle name sometimes? I have friends that are like that.. more than likely I would guess this is just a small error that someone overlooked. Every time i watch this though, that limp looks more and more rediculous Smile

His name was like that at the old THF site as well. His page was titled "Thomas Warner Mittelwerk," but the article itself referred to him as "Dr. Werner Mittelwerk."

Well, the PMs caught their mistake. The new text on THF.org has been changed to read Dr. Thomas Werner Mittelwerk.

Trout me if this has already been covered, but has anyone else noticed the rumbling?

I don't remember it being there before, but I never took the time to stop moving my mouse on the Hanso Foundation shutdown page. If you don't move your mouse, a low rumble starts and increases until it's actually quite loud.

Maybe two minutes into it, I swore I heard some sort of jingle, and now, a good five minutes into it, there is a distinct beeping noise behind it.

Anyone?

That was how we found the Orientation Video, hold mouse still for 108 seconds, and words appear.

Other boards have noticed another possible change at THF.org...

First of all, the flash at 108 seconds which used to reveal "orientation_testing_issue_1980", has really gotten short, almost too short to catch.

However, some people have been able to catch it, and the flash apparently now reveals the words "orientation testing version 1980". Aside from the missing underscores, "issue" has changed to "version", and although some people seem to be reading the date as 1988, to my eye it still looks like 1980.

However, it doesn't seem to lead to anything new.

I have never seen the flash, I didn't even see it when I held still this time.
