Say that the W words are just whittling down to the actual anagram, as if he's remembering it, rather than making it up.

Walparnen
Wol parn nen
Wolparnen

The last one solves to "Ann Plower" or "Anne Prowl"
also,
You can break up the string of chars like so:
Sammy Steph Amy Ma Dee Tezzy Jeff
possibly "effynj"'s family?

Lastly, I think the railroad signal clue is bogus. It seems to be a real book. Here is the amazon.com link:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0963514407/sr=8-1/qid=1153297624/ref=sr_1_1/002-6152222-2304069?ie=UTF8
There is also a page on Barnes and Noble.
I know these ARG people are good, but I don't think they can infiltrate that far.

Actually, many PMs would post something on amazon or barnes and noble. It happened on Find Araya, and I am sure that it can happen again. Also, if they CANT post the books, then they can tie in.

EDIT: No, I am not saying that the book is related to this ARG. I was merely stating that PMs will sometimes post books or link their ARGs to them.

Sometimes they have someone write a book to connect to an ARG. Example Bad Twin by Gary Troup for the Lost Experience Game. He's not even a real person, it was written for clues for the game.

I think Kyle was engineered because it's called Kyle XY as in X and Y chromosomes. The red doesn't always mean stop is directly related to my theory and I haven't really watched the show. I mostly just read the clues on here and the official website.

I'm pretty sure the photo of the ferns in the Photo Evidence section of the Clue Tracker is a stereograph but it's too small and I'm too crap at them to make it out. Anyone else wanna take a shot?

I think the ferns are just a simple foreshadowing of where the skeleton was found. If you notice, it's found in a patch of ferns.

Not really important or anything that I can think of but in the blog if you go to the very bottom of the site there is a little white bar. Click it and it will restart the Instant Message conversation.

What does it say in the convo. It won't work for me.

When I read this, I immeadiately thought of the last episode, the "event" in the hot tub. Josh was definitely in "hot water" then.

could it be....love??

Dang, you beat me to it! And yeah, i really hope we get away from the "O.C." inspired episodes and get back to some sci-fi goodness.

Oh, and here's my totally random speculation. Thomas Foss is the mystery blogger.
Oh, and he's a Cylon (proof? he break's the guy's neck. And in the miniseries for BSG, Number 6 break's a baby's neck) Smile Wink

If Thom Foss is the mystery blogger, why would he tell us not to trust himself? Confused

Cylon? I've seen that word somewhere before. What does it mean and what does BSG stand for?

My take on the "red doesn't always mean stop" thing has to do with the mention of Prometheus earlier on in the mystery blog. Let's not forget that Prometheus is most infamous for his stunt where he stole fire from the Gods and brought it down to mankind.

At this point, a lightbulb should be going off. Fire happens to be red (more often than not, that's how it's portrayed). When you see/happen to be in a fire. do you stop?

Where this will lead, I don't know. It might just be another shot in the dark. Either way, keep it in mind as a possibility.

One more significant development.

If you go through the entire ABC Kyle XY website -> Clue Tracker -> Computer -> MadaCorp process, it brings up that edited picture of what should be the front page. As mentioned by a member prior to this post, the text under the News is missing. The user also went on to explain what the first few words meant. I'm here to take it even further.

Quote:
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Plenty more info found over at http://www.lipsum.com/

Interesting that this was produced at the time of the Renaissance, a new era of rebirth.

My apologies for the triple post.

I'd like to make a correction in my last post. The book was NOT produced during the first "Renaissance". Instead, it was POPULAR during said time period. It was actually "penned" prior to the A.D. years.

Yan, I'm not sure if another member posted this or not, but Lorem Ipsum is also VERY commonly used in web design as content-filler to gauge how a webpage looks when the content is not yet ready. I use it QUITE often myself for this purpose. As much as ABC has done to this ARG to hide their identity and make it more into an alternate reality (yes, that is vast sarcasm), I'm sure that the Lorem Ipsum text on the pages are nothing more than an oversight by someone at ABC. Just my opinion. Smile
