/me pouts

I didn't realize the museum would be on Friday.
I'll still bring Vic's hat (I can wear it), but I'll keep the rest of the stuff at home then. I'll have some extra LCP chips I'll give away on Saturday.

I think if it's not huge stuff, you could probably bring your ARG memorabilia with you to the TML show, too: there is a period where we're just going to be sitting around waiting (a bit over an hour), and I think it would be awesome to be able to ogle and pass around some cool swag-like stuff.

That is, if you don't mind carrying it with you! At any rate, I'd like to see what you have ...

Is there someone with a room at the hotel who might want to do a Museum re-hash of sorts on Saturday? I am just worried that people will be touring around so much, and there was some vocal resistance about coming back out to the hotel ...

how long do you think the 'museum' will go for on friday night?

just wondering because steve and I arrive on amtrak in chicago just before 10pm, and we're taking the subway to the hotel from there. so it'll be somewhere around 10:30 or so likely by the time we get anywhere near the hotel...

Dinner isn't until 7, and I bet we'll be there until at least 9pm. By the time we all get back to the hotel, it might be 9:15-9:30pm. I think you're safe.

Yeah, that's why I scooched dinner to 7PM, so that we'd be all 'za'd out by the time everyone (pretty much) was going to be in attendance.

HANDOUT!

Varin was good enough to compile a good deal of information for us ARGfest Attendees. I am in the process of adding some pretty formatting and will attempt to make copies tomorrow and bring it to ARGfest. I'll be arriving at The Hotel around 10:15-10:30 if all goes as scheduled.

ALSO, since no one has yet ventured a correct guess as to what exactly the SP is in the BYOSP room (and since we have an SP to give away to the frist to do so), I have created a Puzzle to help you out. It will be included in the ARGfest Info Packet mentioned above. If you are not staying at The Hotel and want the Info Packet ASAP, you could meet me at Union Station around 9:30 (email/PM me to get my cell number) before I head to The Hotel. Otherwise, I should have some extras at The Hotel and will try to distribute them amongst the various groups.

SEE YOU TONIGHT!

Well, theBruce and I are in the final stages of getting ready to go on our epic trek into deepest, darkest Chicagoland. See you all tonight!

I'd be happy to donate my room for the museum. I'd even be willing to keep the stuff there longer if you all were comfortable with leaving your things there overnight.

Yay! Thanks.

Are you going to put your room number on the wiki so we can all find it? Smile

I will as soon as I know it Smile

Quick question: We had a party here not too long ago and have some beer and margarita stuff left in the fridge. Quite honestly, I'm looking for a way to get rid of it because it will probably sit there for at least six months. Would there be anything wrong with offering drinks at the museum? Cool

As long as we aren't stupid drunk and spilling stuff.
Thanks so much, Varin.

Okay, I'll bring my stuff and drop it off with you on Saturday.

Just was checking out the weather for this weekend, and IMO it couldn't be more perfect. Amazing how nice it'll be compared to what they were saying last week!

I can't wait! See you all there tonight!

INFO PACK

I thought I'd post a PDF version of the Official ARGfest-o-Con 2006 Info Pack.

THIS IS NOT THE FINAL VERSION. The final version has a puzzle which will give any solvers a KLOO to what an SP could be. I thought it only fair that the puzzle only appear on printed copies handed out in Chicago so people who are currently traveling without internet access are on level ground.

A big thanks to varin for almost all the content in the document!

I'll grab a stack of RTA system maps from the boxes across the room from me as well, for anyone who might want a map of all the transit options in the area.
