Is anyone aware of anything that came out of Mandrake Wig's newest blog post? Its titled, "You'll find what you're looking for… I have faith in you all."
Seems like SOMETHING should come from it? I didn't read through the updates completely, I might get a trout for this. But better safe than sorry I guess.

mostly, i am wondering what she means by "people she can trust". does this include, say, Gary Troup's website (does she "know" about that site?), or ROT? probably not the corporate-sponsored ones (sublymonal)....

but how else would we know which sites to check up on regularly? should we develop a system of tracking some of our known sites?

She has already posted something on Gary Troup's site (audio or video, I forget), and mel0drama has posted to sublymonal. And all other sites were involved with Rachel Blake as well. So I think all in-game sites thus far may possibly hold future glyphs. I wouldn't be too concerned with developing a system of checking them though, as it seems many players consistantly check those sites anyways.

iamthatdizzy, you mentioned that the .swf had some equations to determine what codes are acceptable. Could you post these equations, as well as the inputs to them?

yeah, give me about a half hour.

edit: ok, here they are in order in the .swf file

(almost forgot to do the second one... :p)

(sprite 291)

(sprite 294)

OK, these next three are all the same sprite, #295, it was REALLY long.

(Sprite 296)

(Sprite 297 had no math)

really big long post with lots of images

I can feel another wave of 1337 fl4sh h4x0r5 coming.

What makes you think this has anything to do with the codes? (and no, the programming being in the flash is not enough reason.)

look at how random our codes have been so far. they are part of said equation. and the solution to it all is the filename of the fragment. so it is [answer].flv

I really didn't follow that explaination. *shrugs*

I think that code deals with moving shapes around, and that's all.

I think that the glyph codes are checked server side.

In the latest video fragment ohge, there is a Dharma Initiative orientation video clip shown for a brief second. The symbol behinnd the Dharma Initiative text was a zygote.

This is getting interesting.

You would be correct, sir: That is nothing but shape moving code and the glyph codes are checked server-side:

http://www.hansoexposed.com/xml/user/submit/fragment&code=RRGYXS

Replace RRGYXS with any of the other codes to return 0.
Replace RRGYXS with anything else and it will return 1.

What makes you say this? A zygote is an embryo at the one-cell stage, immediately after fertilization and before the first cell division. Cells in embryos of most species cleave by binary fission and don't have little buds like that (At least not in any species that I am aware of). To me it looks more like a budding yeast cell (see figure B).

And my spec is that in 748L Mittlewerk is training Dharma recruits on how to push the button: "Know it by heart. Don't waver!" Too early to say for sure though.

There are now 10 fragments released, and only 5 found. Are we supposed to just keep looking everywhere or are we missing something?

There was totally one on Daniel Dae Kim's wrist at Comic-Con, but I haven't seen any clear pictures yet (the ones on Speaker's Blog are the glyphs from Damon's and Jorge's wrists.)
Other than that, I think we are just waiting for pointers to surface. "Clues will find their way to a trusted few." Wonder if that means us-types or the RoT/DJ Dan types?
Has everyone checked their newspapers this morning?

Anyone else having issues with the Hanso Exposed website? I'm finding that it freezes after it tries to load my codes and tells me how many I have found relative to the total number released.

I'm going to try Internet Explorer, but I'm not sure it will work...

I'm having problems with it too. After I save it and click on the link to the player, it stays on 0/0.
