I'm catching up with Samuel but I don't know what to do with the picture of the (angle?) statue and the seven angles at the bottom. I see right, acute, and obtuse but I can't make left or right out of it Wink

I haven't seen this puzzle yet - can you post it?

Some hints for the angle one
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

I'm stuck on a number of puzzles - for Dutchess and Jasmine - the one with the letters that link together with all the other spirits, I don't know what should be put into the box, has anyone else answered these?

Also, Dutchess: the one apparently a few other people are stuck on that says "A coddled night's whirr", and another one with two pictures side by side, the left - is that holly? and the right is a pile of wood and the word "Where?"

Jasmine: still Name that Tune and Who Am I?

if anyone gets any of these, please give me a hint, I'm over here pulling my hair out Smile

With the one with the letters linked together remember to remove the spaces when you enter the answer.

I can't help with the others. Could you post the pictures. The who am i pic has been posted but i can't figure that one out.

For name that tune, possible answer.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I think the answer may be 433. John Cage performed a piece called 4:33, it was just him sitting at a piano for 4mins 33secs not playing. The black box could be "nothing". Might work.

For the where one
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Say one word to describe the first pic and one word for the second.

for the Name that Tune: that's not it, I tried a few variations of that - plus a couple that I kinda pulled out of nowhere. still nothing

for the where puzzle, thank you, I can't believe I missed that - I think I may have been overthinking it Embarassed

I also need a helpful nudge with the time lapse photograph of the stars... A Coddles Night's Whirr... Confused I have also been wondering about the underline beneath the O.

Heh, it's funny that with the "Name That Tune" puzzle, John Cage is one of my favourite composers Razz

Okay, got the Roman numerals puzzle for Buckwell. Now I'm stuck on the dancing men puzzle for Jasmine (I'm having trouble figuring out which letter one of the men represents).

This might help but you will have to work it out backwards

For the Coddled night's Whirr, I'm pretty sure the line under the o is just the typeset, very Rennie Macintosh. I think it's something to do with the rotation of the sky, but getting nowhere still.

BTW - I've sent a note off to KH to ask Jasmine & the Duchess if they'll give us a hint for the 3 we're all stuck with. Mainly because I think they're ones you need to know the answer for, rather than being able to work them out.

Name that Tune

A few notes (pun not intended) on Name that Tune, trout if you must:

I still think this refers to John Cage (Notation at the bottom: C-A-G-E), and most probably to 4'33''.
Strider, you mentioned you had tried some variations. Here's a few more suggestions:

4'33'' (maybe using all possible variations of the ' character), 4:30, 4Minutes33, Absolute Zero, Silence

Also, there's another piece by Cage called 0'00'' (or 4'33'' No. 2).

If all else fails, here's a list of Cage's works:
http://www.johncage.info/workscage/worklist/ronsenmus.html

A few of those seem plausible:
She is asleep, A Room, Meditation, Dream, Black Mountain Piece, Waiting, Untitled, Silent Environment, Instances of Silence, Voiceless Essay, Five Hanau Silence, Imaginary Landscape

Maybe that helps...
