I have some friends who are exhibiting/pimping comics etc. Sadly, though, I am waaaay too poor to make it over the pond myself. Hell, I can barely make it across London without making my bank manager cackle with Mephistophelean glee.

When I was talking to the gentleman who accepted the Vanguard award at Origins, I got a chance to talk with him. He said that there will definitely be something at Comicon. I remember being bummed about it because there will be something there and there was nothing at Origins.

As if to punch me in the balls for my efforts, the promo card is not there.

MC apparently shipped it late, and so if it were on time, it would have arrived sometime later today.

However, the box containing the promo cards has been held up in customs for some reason. Who knows what that means, but I was told it should be there "probably tomorrow".

They were stuck in the receiving area for the Comic-Con late Friday night and were finally available Saturday morning.

I was there most of the days, so I was lucky enough to get one. Sorry you missed out.
