Hey America, where are you getting your Wave 4 cards?

I'm surprised Firebox hasn't announced a pre-order yet, too. I wasn't around for previous waves, though, so I don't know if this is normal or not.

I really want a box of pure Wave 4. I don't really need previous waves, as I'm just down to blacks and silvers left to acquire. I've yet to find a US seller that has the pure boxes, though. If anyone finds one, please let me know. I'd like to save some money on shipping charges.

I don't mind if I don't have the cards on the release date. It's better for me financially to wait a few days anyway, and I've already decided I don't care about first solves. It'd be really cool to get a first solve, but it's not very feasible given the release date and the lack of stores nearby that carry the cards.

a place near me called Gamescape North will be selling pure wave 4 boxes on the 31 so I have been told.

Allstartradingcards.com has boxes of mixed Waves 1-4 for $110, but I'm a bit weary of them since the emails I sent them (asking if they could deliver on 7/31) came back as undeliverable, and I don't see them listed on the PXC website as a dealer.

I'm planning on getting a box of Mixed 1-4 cards even though I am only missing a few blacks and silvers from Waves 1-3. I found that it didn't take many pure Wave 3 packs to fill out levels Red-Purple, so I can always buy a few pure Wave 4 packs down the line if I need them. Buying 36 6-card packs of only 62 possible cards seems like it would leave you with just as many duplicates as would buying a mixed box and already having most of the cards from the previous waves.

I've bought from All Star before, and haven't had an issue. Packages were normally sent out within a day of purchase. They also sent me a postcard about the Wave 4 release. Smile

The only problem I've had with them is what you've discovered--their email address doesn't appear to be working. Otherwise, they've been good.

edit: They're on the PXC website. Not a featured retailer, but they ARE listed. That's how I found them in the first place. Try searching on their zip code--60025.

I tried to email ThinkGeek and they said they are getting it sometime in Augest with no prebuying, and they said that they would mix it in. Sucks Guess I'll have to go with Insound

I'm also going with Firebox, as I usually do. It generally takes less than a week (I'm in Canada, mind you), and the shipping charges are covered, since it's easy to poke around the Internet to find free discount coupons.

I just went on Firebox and they do not even have a link to order the Wave 4 yet, they only list Wave 3. I find that rather odd...

found a seller that will have them on the 31st, and ships out that day. also has pure wave 4 boxes, and is IN US.

(note: my closest seller is 140km away, that's why i ebayed.) if it wasn't on a monday, i'd drive the 140km.

I got mine off eBay too. Confused

I found a local shop that sells them, but his distributor said they weren't able to get *pure* wave 4 boxes. His 'mixed' delivery will arrive on the 31st by UPS. I hope this isn't going to be a repeat of the last wave, with the US shops unable to get any pure wave 4 boxes in the US again! Sad

A couple of people have mentioned that Firebox is selling from the US now... ? I must've missed that. Where is this stated, and how can we place a US order? Also, if this wave is anything like the past, Firebox does already have the cards, but has to wait for the 'go-ahead' from Mind Candy. I wonder what surprise they have in store for us this time? Razz

Wave 4 is available for pre-sell at Firebox now! Very Happy

'Wave 4' cards released July 31st!

Wave 4 of Perplex City cards will be launching simultaneously around the world on July 31st but you can pre-order yours now!.

This is the FINAL wave of cards from Season 1 to be released, which means that all 256 cards will now be in circulation. Mixed packs of Waves 1-4 and a limited edition of PURE Wave 4 cards will be available.

**Update**
If you order *anything* from the Firebox site, you get a free pack of wave 1-3 with your order. The down-side... there seems to be a postage glitch again, with an order of 4 packs (�9.95) costing �10.00 in postage to the US! OUCH! Sad
