Make sure that they know your address at the studiocypher.com website. I saw that my info was not there and after filling it out and sending them a note I will be getting mine in the mail soon.

This is so hard. The best i can do is "sollert very srdt deod wilco ebrhfte me". A lot of the letters could be something else but whatever i try just gives me gibberish.

I get 21 lines across the document, does everyone else?
Been looking at where lines intersect over letters, but got nothing so far, and there's too many letters to be an anagram.

I have 21 lines. There could be another 2 but they come from partial lines in the middle of the page and do to join up to anything on the edge.

I extended all the lines until they touched the sides, and got 21. Although there are quite a few that do not tie up with lines at both ends.
I've attached my attempt. the circles are where lines join over, or near letters

That's very close to what I've got but you missed the one on the S of eighty-six.

I've updated the doc, and also put in what I think the letters are, unfortunately this gives nothing meaningful, unless we need a further decryption. Where there are two letters, it means I'm not sure, but have put the most likely letter first.
It's very likely some of the letters are out, but what I have so far gives: ENSOGLLOOTVTSRDTDHTWILCHMEBBFTPM my eyes are drawn to loot in there, but the rest is useless

Anton said that he knows the will has been altered. My guess is that someone (probably Samuel) added something to try and make it impossible to solve. He probably just added the ink smudges to disguise the lines in the middle of the page but he could have added extra lines to make it even harder. We need to think about this while we are trying to solve it. We could be missing letters because of this or we could have extra letters that we don't need.

I just had a thought looking at the will and the bulletin.
Up until he left the nasty will about greed and corruption, ES Wylie was a grand beneficiary in the town for good right? Well, looking at the front, we see that the Navidson Church was built in 1905, likely with money from Wylie. What if Samuel, upon finding Wylie thought/knew that the treasure was buried or linked to the church? That could explain why it burned down two days afterwards and why the new will had so many errors.
Samuel could have either burned down the church to keep others from finding the treasure, or maybe he was so desperate himself to find it that he burned it down by accident?

I tried to change some of the text but the splotches were already there
so is this a clue that the the splotches are what we should be looking at?
