[PRR Forums] New Sally post 7/20

Doesn't look like anybody mentioned this. I wonder how real/important these puzzles/games things are from the PRR, but they probably don't put them up there for nothing...

Anyway:

Quote:
Well, I want to thank you all for your questions about Jeff and the name of the baby.

And it's all going GREAT! biggrin.gif

Jeff sometimes writes to me... He likes oldfashionedsnailmail... And I have this wall of letters. I take the letters he writes and tape them up on the wall.

So far one wall is done.

Because of the people who were trying to kill Jeff, I really can't tell you anything about where he is. Even I'M hiding from those people! They're CRAZY! sad.gif

But Jeff's going to write music that's going to make them even madder. And this time, they won't be able to stop him, because he's only going to work with people he trusts. Like me.

I think I'm going to name the baby Sarah. And not 'cause someone here suggested it! LOL! That's my mama's name.

HaymSolomon: By the way, I'm making a list of things that happened with Poor Richard. I wasn't there the night you saw them at CBGB. But I was wondering — pretty please — if you could tell me what Madison Rose and Adam were wearing. It's like this scrap book thing I'm making, and it would really help! Thanks!

And if you see any of the band members, make sure to let me know. You don't have to go talk to them or anything. Just let me know what they're up to and stuff.

I miss them. I hope they're all okay.

~Sally

Which is weird because Sally Hemings' name was in fact thought to be Sarah, and her mother was most certainly Elizabeth...

They're crazy? I suppose it does take one to know one. For gosh sakes, that girl has a letter wall! Most people keep that kind of thing in a shoebox. Jeff is probably hiding out from her, and not them.

A scrapbook. Sure.

Sally's getting seriously stalker-ish. I used to think she was super annoying but basically harmless. I've changed my mind. She's kinda freaking me out. Now she's not just obsessed with Jeff, but with the whole band. That's more than just silly adolescent girlfriend stuff.

Which, oddly enough, makes me much more interested in watching the PRR forums to see what level of crazy she'll rise to next!

I guess I've been wondering how to answer that, and probably should have thought more about the insight it seems to offer into Sally's character. It seemed interesting to me to say that I passed them on the street before they had truly emerged as popular. Is the correct term "load-in", I've heard of the load-out before, roadies taking down the stage and equipment, right? I've been worried about contradicting something they had in mind or being inaccurate in some other way. Also, the incident would have to have happened 3-5 years ago, and it's hard (for me) to invent specific clothing. I *could* do it, I guess, or I could just be vague.

Load-in and Load-out in the US, Get-in and Get-out in the UK.

in response to my sighting of Jeff:

Quote:
One of the things that made the band so great was that they trusted themselves! With their writing and their singing -- they just did it. Sometimes THEY SUCKED! (Oh, you should have BEEN THERE for some of their rehearsals. ) But they just did it. And then, if things got sloppy, they worked together to fix it up afterward.

Jeff tells me that that's how you make things. You start, you see what you get, and then you do it again.

They wanted everyone to be like that.

kind of sounds like she's hinting at us to make something...maybe more poor richard stories?
