 		The position idea is good here. You'll also note that Matt the Pale's site has transcripts for 9 of the fragments, currently.

I actually think that the dharma video will be more towards the middle, with the Mittlwerk scenes (in vdados7yre0, 4HO, and 748L sor far) coming closer to the beginning.

(My guess is that the video starts with Rachel hidden on the ship, filming Mittlwerk, possibly giving some sort of in person orientation to a new batch of recruits (for the island?). Then a bit later, he shows them this new Dharma orientation video, which Rachel films/gets a copy of)

ah I see ok agreed taking that one out for now I was thinking the whole thing was orientation but for now i might just create a seperate part for the orientation but i know that this one must go at the start of the orientation section. Lol debunk away! Smile

 		Just as a matter of methodology... once we have an idea of what we're looking at, maybe we could break down the video into portions, so that we might be able to work on it easier? Like, keep a record of "Orientation Video," seperate from "Mittlewerk speech," etc.? We don't know the order between the two of them, and might be able to come up with relatively understandable versions of each before the linking clips are revealed.

I'm inclined to agree. However, we should keep in mind that probably Mittlewerk's speech is in two parts, flanking the Dharma video.

(i.e. first comes fvh7n, then ig3x, which seems to transition on the end of the orientation video to a room full of new recruits sitting down)

That is the hypotheis im going with for the moment. Unless a fragment is released which clearly shows Mittlewerk telling whoever he is in the room with to watch a short orientation film, I dont see a reason not to have those in the primary positions.
