They seem to have fixed it - I just ordered 12 packs of pure Wave 4, and the shipping was 2.95 (pounds).
So now I won't feel as bad if I don't make it to Richmond Monday night...
(argh. I was trying to not get into the *must have Wave 4 cards immediately!* mentality. too late! )

must have wave 4 cards now Went with eBay as well, found an American seller who'll ship his pre-orders out on the 31st using next day, so I should have my cards on August 1st if everything goes well. Personally I pre-ordered a PURE wave 4 booster box.
His seller ID is rlp6028 if anyone else is looking for this deal - though I haven't checked if he has more still listed for sale. There are a number of similar deals on eBay though most aren't for pure wave 4 and most are in the UK (outrageous shipping costs and waiting :-p).

Followed your lead and did the same. Didn't really feel comfortable dropping the money for a full box, as I'm going on vacation in September and need money for that.
Those who have ordered from Firebox before--what courier did they use? USPS, FedEx, UPS? I ask because I have a VERY hard time receiving FedEx & UPS shipments at home. I'd likely have to redirect the package to my dad's house. Which means getting it later, but I don't mind about that. Just would like to know in advance if I'll need to do some hoop-jumping to get the package.

I think it is USPS, that what it says on the website. A USPS in Long Island apparently, which is convenent for me, as I am in Long Island!

And it seems they're already sold out of everything related to Wave 4... I just hope by 'limited edition pure wave 4 packs', they mean as limited as their pure Wave 3 packs.

Awesome. I much prefer USPS. Thanks!

No, they're not sold out; they just mark all pre-orders as "sold out". You can still order them by clicking the "Preorder" button next to the item.

Oh really? Thanks. They should really make that more apparent on their page... By the way, will we also receive a free pack of Wave 1-3 cards for pre-ordering?

I will have cards by the 31th (USA) I sell on e-bay under: pyro.fireworks
See my positive feedback from perplex buyers.
I will have Wave 4 Boosters on the 31th.
Maybe a few Pure packs but they are pretty well spoken for.
My e-mail is perplexcitycardSPLAT yahoo.com if anyone wants to contact me.

Nobody ordered 38 boxes, I just did not know how much inventory I would have until halfway through the auction, so I had my wife buy out the orders I could not fill so people were not disappointed.
And, yes, I should be sending them USPS Priority Mail when I receive them so they arrive ON the 31st. They were shipped UPS ground to me Monday, with an approximated arrival date of 7/28. Hope the truck doesn't get a flat or something

Gee, the e-bay fee on that would have to be paid. That would amount to well over $150, wouldn't it?

I found that out. I totally blanked about that aspect of the fees until you mentioned that. Luckily Ebay understood that I was not buying and shipping all of those items to myself and refunded me the charge.
