[UPDATE/SOLVED] Mystery Town July 28 - emaildoc

Quote:
July 28th

"Is it possible the Woods Walker really was just a kook after all?"

I think I've received his reply to that question, even though I'm not sure what it means. Another email from the "walker", with nothing in the body of the email but "see attached". What he attached to the email was a word document with nothing but an image on it, and I can't decide if he's telling me something or just having a little fun with me.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
there's a hidden watermark on the MS Word document. it's in transparent text and says "didyouseemeatthehunt?"

the "the state of the environment in which a situation exists" at the bottom of the page is the definition for environment/background/setting/scope. so perhaps combined with the definition for "background" pointed out by kimer, it was hinting for us to look at the background setting for the doc i.e. the watermark

Here are the different views for the emaildoc.doc

I also sent these to Peter. Didn't know if anyone else had informed him yet or not.

Well we don't know that... The walker could have been anyone at the hunt since Peter didn't identify him/her. I don't know how Wes' ghost would be using a computer out in the middle of the pine barons to send emails. That might be a bit difficult even if he wasn't a ghost! Sorry to be the skeptic here but someone has to be.

In CTW1 Sarah used the Turing Principle to communicate with us. Therefor seems to me that Wes could use email. I don't think that Wes is dead. I think he's trapped between two worlds/realities. If it has something to do with the egg and other research at the Ashram it's possible he is able to use the technology to bridge the gap between realities.

I mentioned this in a letter to Peter - maybe he thinks I've gone off the deep end. lol
