Hey just stumbled on this the other day and read up on the goings on,
Well this pretty much takes off all speculation of Anthony being the one behind this and I would even give him The Father tag...
The mastermind behind this would already know which pill was poison and might put a strong fight for the two safe pills to keep off speculation, but to do something this drastic where his choice would be given up sounds more of a plea of a desperate man just wanting to go home. He might have snapped and gone crazy, but hes definitely not the one we are looking for. It does raise some speculation though of Todds title though, maybe hes not really what he says he is, making him the liar, or maybe he really is behind it... can't be too sure...
The Way I see it:
Beth - Doctor (seems to be a legit psychologist at least when dealing with others)
Anthony - Father (has gone crazy trying to get back to his kid)
Eric - Liar (haven't seen him to date do much of anything medical)
Barry - Shy (not many can figure him out since he keeps to himself)
Todd - Mastermind (He would be perfect since he has proven himself already to the others that he would give his life for the sake of everyone else)

Candy - Whore (dead)
Blade - Already Dead (dead)
Kaite - Robot (this one im unsure, but maybe there is a way to find out, it may be a stretch but when she was dancing maybe she was doing the robot?)

Perhaps we can use Beth if she is a psychologist to try and see which one is lying Eric or Todd. If she could find out which is actually not telling the truth without them knowing, the other one would be the mastermind...

Just had a chat with Barry, they took the pills and Anthony died. We got it wrong and killed another innocent person.

Alright after seeing this I think the most logical thing to do is find out who is the killer between Beth Eric and Barry. The reason why I only say them is the one that is either a Sinner or a Saint, Todd should be the second to go in. He already said he didn't want to see anyone else die so he would sacrifice himself for the sake of the other two. This wouldn't be a concidered suicide more then being a martyr to save the two innocent people, or maybe he is the killer and just him alone is the right decision. As for the first three the highest on my speculation is Eric or Beth. Just because they are both doctors doesnt mean one doctor couldnt also be the mastermind. Though I could be terribly wrong, and maybe Beth is the shy one and Barry is the one seeking us out to keep the speculation off him.

I email Todd and Beth and asked them to find out info on the others. I just got my reply from Todd.

I still believe its Todd, he was instrumental in two deaths, which had been predicted by the mastermind. Noone has pressured him into being in these positions but he always seems to be there. Todd gets my vote. Heck we killed someones dad so weve got nothing to lose.

I came in on this one pretty late, but I actually really like it. It's moving rather quickly and there was a lot of opportunity for character interaction for everybody who's not into the whole puzzle-solving aspect of ARGs.
Too bad it never made it into the "ARGs with Potential"-section, as it seems to be almost over now. Maybe "The Room of Doom" would have been a more attractive name than "The Message Center" to lure players in...

Anyway, for this final stage (and to take some of the weight of tallerbird's shoulders ), here's the way I see it:

Eric: Liar (Clearly, he's the liar. He couldn't fix Anthony's nose and referred to himself as a "real" doctor, which a "real" doctor wouldn't do.)
Beth: Doctor (Well, if it's not Eric, it's gotta be her.)
Barry: Shy (Stutter and everything...though he might be the killer.)
Todd: Killer (A lot of things point to him...e.g. "He who cheats death shall bring death.", his shhh-message: "If I live till there is only two I win.",etc.)

I think this was made pretty obvious...when Blade turned out to be the robot (rather blatant, with wires inside of her), I think the list was mostly well accounted for.

So, assuming Todd is the killer, here's my take on it:

Reread Todd's last mail, the story about the girl and "not pulling the plug". I think the characters should refuse to enter the showers and they will all go free! The killer has always been in control, his goal has always been to win, and we and the characters have been playing his game. So what is there to lose? If he want's everybody dead, he will find a way...I think the only way out is to stop playing his game!

If the characters don't refuse to make a choice unanimously, I think they should vote wether to put somebody in the showers or not. If not, we'll see what happens. If they do put somebody in the showers, I think it should be Todd and Barry...this way I'm pretty sure the killer will be one of them. (Or the PM will change the killer to be one of the two who don't end up in the shower...so I'd prefer the first option.)

Anyway, I guess the decision is up to whoever ends up chatting to the characters...let's hope for the best!
Oh yeah, and thanks to tallerbird and all of you guys for keeping this one alive up till now and to the PM for creating an ARG with some rather well-written characters instead of AIs in it.

Well there is a bomb in the room and so far every time we have had to make a decision on who to die next the timer has started. The timer only stopped when someone died so i don't think refusing to do it will work.

Also, it might not matter who we kill, the PM's might have decided that the killer will live and might decide who the killer will be out of the final 2.

I'm still waiting for a reply from Beth, hopefully she will have some useful information for us.

I agree with putting Todd and Barry in the showers. Todd seems a little too reflective about the entire situation. It might make sense if he really is a Father, but if he's not, then it would make sense in a sick way, like he's trying to prove a point and justify why he's doing it. It's also possible that Barry's the killer, as he seems tempermental, but I'm still putting money on Todd as the killer.

I agree with GuyIncognito about who is who.
