[EMAIL] Sam July 29 - Sarah's New Library & Tinfoil Hats

In response to Sam's email from July 25th:

Thanks for your response and your thoughts, Sam.
I give you permission to also post that on Aglaura Citizens Speak Out
(which was my original intention with my email).

Someone needed access to the walls in the basement of the library. Now
they have it. Makes me wonder why.

Yes, I read about the donation of Hollow Needle to be the new library.
Happy & sad at the same time. I'll miss the antiques. Reminds me of
all the times I stopped at Wes' shop as a little girl, peaking at the
weird stuff. One of my favorite items, though, was that purple hooded
statue he had on the desk. And he always had great stories (good
thing I don't have nightmares).

Oh, I'm so sorry. I was reminiscing and totally forgot. I really don't
mean to upset you.

But I'm a little worried. Wasn't JD hanging out in his basement
before he was placed into the hospital in Princeton? What if someone
wants access to *those* walls also? I'm not so sure Sarah should be
there by herself. Any chance you could help her out and stay with her
a bit?

And speaking of nightmares...Bruce, Dale & Sarah have all blogged
about strange dreams..... are you having any?

Sorry to be so full of questions tonight. Last one, I promise. What's
the ETA for the Aglaura Intranet? I think it would be so much easier
to converse in a chat room instead of these emails back and forth.
And I'd love to chat with my folks instead of spending money on phone
bills. Anyway, thanks for the updates!

Hugs!
Heather

Heather,

The new plan for the library is bittersweet in a way, isn't it? It's
a shame that Phyllis couldn't keep the Hollow Needle open. She really
does love that place, so I'm glad that she (at least) found a way for
her loss to be beneficial to others. It will make a lovely library
building. I'm excited to see how Sarah will use up all of the nooks
and crannies of the place. She's a genius when it comes to that sort
of thing. I told her I would set up wifi in the building in exchange
for a nice little secluded corner for the scifi books. She gave me
her rarely used "I'm a serious librarian" look and then we both
started to crack up. It's good to see her smiling again. I don't
think you need to worry about her being there alone. I think she's
going to be fine now that she has this project to work on. I'll keep
an eye on her though anyway, if it will make you feel better?

Don't worry about upsetting me by talking about Wes and his life.
Those are the memories I want to remember. Did you know we had this
sort of ongoing prank feud between us? Once when he was out of town
for the day, I wrapped his entire office in tinfoil. We must have
been on the same vibe that night, because on his way home (while I was
making his office shiny and splatter proof) he snuck into my house and
completely saran wrapped my bed. Things just haven't been the same
without him. I wish I would have cherished those important moments a
bit more when they were here.

I'll send you an email as soon as the intranet is accessible. Smile

Sam

Wow I got a very different email from her! It is pretty cool because I told her about Keith and a lot of the other things going on inculding peter. (I didn't tell her I had the mask though) Also she metnioned something about "ancient germs" being behind the wall of mayor dobbs house! Coincidence I think not!

Daniel,

My friend Roxanne told me about that bumper sticker message too. I
don't believe that Wes is sending the people of Aglaura a message from
beyond the grave... I don't really believe in that sort of stuff. I
think it's more likely that Iris figured out the message and it
inspired her to set up this devil hunt fiasco. As much as I would
like to deny it, Wes is gone... and I can't reverse time and wish that
he weren't.

You're friends with Peter too? Now that's really strange. You're the
third person who has told me they are friends with Peter. Who is this
guy and why does he know everyone that emails me? Should I put on my
tinfoil hat? I do hope Peter's feeling better though. From what
Dobbs told me, he wasn't looking too good when he left for home. I
would've stopped by the bossman's to say goodbye to him, but germs and
I just don't mix. A person can sneeze all the way over in Newark and
I'll be sick the next day. Actually, I'm surprised Dobbs hasn't
caught whatever Peter had. He must have a hardy immune system from
living in that old dusty house of his. I'm afraid to think about what
ancient germs are living behind those walls. **shudder**

And wait a minute... I'm a bit confused about this whole
Keith/masks/Dale/307/Meaghan thing. I know that a guy named Keith
McCoy disappeared not too long ago and that he was wanted for
questioning about a couple of things. Is that the Keith you're
talking about? And he was the one who stole the masks from the
library?! Whoa. And you willingly met with him? You know that's
kinda scary, right? I don't know if I even want to know what all of
that 307 creepiness is about, do I? Is that why Meaghan is being all
emo? I figured it was just regular teenage stuff.

Dale knows about all of this? Do you think this can help his case
somehow? I don't know why he wouldn't have said anything to me... or
to the police. This is all too confusing. I'm not saying anything
to anybody until somebody lets me know what's really going on. In the
meantime, I'm gonna go get that tinfoil hat and hide in the closet.
