London thinks it's cooler by a mile...the new link should really be in St. Ives. Or maybe Leg O' Mutton, home of the Yelverton paperweight centre. Much cooler.
There seems to be a more formal online system than last time, but I know we found Mima and Bobbyjoejackson's help invaluable...those of you on the ground let people know if you need help of a googly (or other) nature.

It has yet to be announced, so we'll just have to wait in rapt anticipation and see what transpires.
At Clapham, the online help and involvement was extensive, the websites all along the Receda Trail which we'd followed to reach that point changed, giving new puzzles. Eventually, the ground team were directed by the online team, based upon information gained through solving the puzzles we were given throughout the day.
PCAG London/New York - very minimal online interaction, mainly due to the formats of said events - they were never intended to have "online" participants.
It would seem that Mind Candy are looking to give everyone at least a little something to do, even if we aren't physically able to be in SF.

I am definitely going to San Francisco (confirmed as player).
Does anyone know how teams are set up? Does one pull together a team ahead of time or are teams randomly assigned at the event? I have to assume that people won't be doing it solo.
Anyway, I'm just happy to be going so it's no big deal either way.
Thanks! DiG...

Ladies and Gennelmen, I have signed up to the SF games, and not only that, have found a copy of the Version 1 starter pack in a shop. If anybody in the US didn't get one and would like me to buy it a bring it over I can do so, it'll be cost price (I think it was £25 in the shop). Any further donation to my airfare would be appreciated!

Me and my wife will be there as well. Both of us have registered. Bringing my kids along for good luck. If people are getting together to form a team let me know, would like to join. Plus it would be great to maybe meet some of the people here before we all get started, maybe with breakfast or a dinner before hand. Not to forget the photos that could be taken.

Will be good to meet more hunters!
Breakfast or Dinner beforehand?
Sounds good!
When do you get into SF? My schedule's gonna be a bit tight as I only arrive into the city the day before the event.

My family live in SF and I'm just down in SoCal, so I'm definitely making the drive up for the live event. Registered the first day I could! I have to admit that, while I followed this game very closely for a long time, I've fallen out of it lately, and need to catch up.
If anyone catches word of a gathering before or after, IM me at filmguy1013

Breakfast How does breakfast sound with everyone. Will be driving up from San Diego that Friday so likely will not be there for a dinner unless late. Anyone know the area real well and able to point a good place for breakfast. Maybe around 7am. Give us time to eat, and get to the event.
