[EMAIL] Dale July 30 - He's met Keith

Quote:
Mountain Girl,

Thanks for writing me, and for the concern. Yes, I am OK, I've just
been busy putting my personal life in order and also putting the pieces of this mystery in order, too. It's been very time consuming, but at least I feel like I'm making some progress and perhaps poised on the brink of some type of breakthrough. Before I try and respond to your questions or comments, I have a few other things to tell you too.

Thanks to the constant prodding of some of my frequent correspondents,
I finallytalked in length to this Keith guy, the one responsible for
the 307 website, and the one who's also suspected of taking Sarah's masks from the Aglaura Public Library. I know he's also suspected in the case of the missing teenager from Aglaura, and he's the same guy I saw talking to Meaghan a couple of times in town. So I've got every reason not to like or trust this guy. But, for some reason, I believe what he told me. I think he's gotten caught up in this insanity that is consuming Aglaura and has no idea what he is involved in.

Keith told me, or should I say confessed to me, that he does have
Sarah's missing masks, or some of them at least. But he didn't steal them from the Library; he found them buried in the woods around Aglaura. At locations that seem to match the damn 307 symbol, if it was dropped down over a map of the town. Just like the maps my online friends have been sending me, and that I've posted to my Journal site.

He also told me that he saw the missing teenager murdered at one of the
spots where a mask was buried, by some men he didn't know or recognize. That's why he ran, afraid they would do the same thing to him if they caught him. He claims they saw him at the spot where they killed the kid, and only by dumb luck did he manage to get away. Oh yeah, he also said the teenager had the 307 symbol tattooed on his arm. When he saw them again later outside his home, he took off.

He found something else in the woods too, and you've probably seen the
video clip of it on his website, again pointed out to me by several people
via email. We talked about that and a lot more, but the main thing is, it's
another piece, or several pieces actually, of what I'm trying to figure out.

I'm wondering now if the Pine Barrens, the woods all around this town,
are some sort of symbolic "walls", behind which I'm supposed to find a secret. I wish Digitalis were here to answer that question.

As far as your ideas about the masks and the Egregore - all I can say
is Wow! Thanks for cluing me in to it. I'll let you know what I think of it all
when it has just a bit more time to sink in.

Dale

Hi Dale,

For some reason it seems like I know you from a dream, or vice versa. I can't explain that, I don't really know how it's even plausible. Regardless, though you don't really know me, I am aware of the current turmoil in Aglaura. I know this may be a tough subject, but I believe in order to help understand what's going on, the details of Wes' death need to be known. I'm sure you're aware of the rumors that he was seen in the woods. I know this all must sound strange coming from a complete stranger, but like I said, I don't feel like you're a stranger . . . something must of drawn me to the events of a small NJ town. What that was, I'm not sure.

Sincerely yours,
Nathan Roberson

Nathan,

Wes' death isn't something that any of us around here talk about easily, and the
recent "sighting" that you mentioned has certainly opened up a lot of old
wounds. I've got some ideas about that incident that I am going to put to the
test very soon, so I'm going to hold off saying anything more about it until
then.

help but feel that I've been given both the clues I need and a map of sorts to
answer just that question. I think it's time to go see what I can find.

Another mention of walls, do you think we should make a "walls" meta thread that has all of the mentions of "walls" in it?

Received the same second part

I got the same email as the rest with the exception of addressing my question about the possible address for the Marzent IntraNet....

Quote:
Hi Ami,

Nice to hear from you. Unfortunately, I can't really answer your
question about how the Marzent network might work. There's a big difference between creating a website for them and being involved in the design and creation of their company network. I wouldn't be surprised if a company the size of Marzent did indeed have some sort of VPN portal for the employees to access records, emails, and so on from home and on the road, but I couldn't swear to it and give you any information, since it's just conjecture.

I got the same email with the personal part being this:

Subject: Checking In

Hi Sylvia,

I hope you are doing OK. I just wanted to fill you in on what's been happening, so that you don't worry too mcuh about me.

But no mention of the email I sent him on Sat. July 29 -- Maybe, I over stepped my bounds by sending this. I don't know.

When you get the time, you might want to take a look at Bruce's blog. Seems he has discovered some interesting stuff that might help you with connecting all the pieces together.

If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.

Sylvia
