Yesterday saw the launch of the fourth and final wave of our puzzlicious Season 1 puzzle
cards. The occasion was marked with celebrations across the globe, and the official

** 10 DAYS AND COUNTING... **

It's almost upon us. 'Perplex City: The San Francisco Connection' will be taking place
on August 12th in, yes, San Francisco. We're expecting around 1,000 people to take part
on the day, in a huge, high-tech hunt around the city. We'd like you to come along.
It'll be fun. And very big. As well as the hunt itself, there will be food, drink and

** BIG UP 1UP **

In preparation for the San Francisco Connection, 1UP.com have given us a bit of space
to build some pre-event goose-bumps and online team spirit. The Cube Retrieval Team's
own Von Lubik is blogging on 1UP and setting a series of puzzles too, offering the
chance to give you a head-start on the San Fran action. He even has his own rather

But that's not all... 1UP is also rallying an Official Perplex City Club and running
a contest for the best user-generated multimedia record of the San Francisco event.

** SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND **

As the chase for the Receda Cube (and the �100,000 reward) quickens, some of you have
emailed in asking what to do if you actually manage to find it. Well, we can now reveal
exactly how to proceed, once you've located and retrieved this most unusual of artefacts.

** TESTING, TESTING **

If you're an early-adopting pioneer on the bleeding edge of puzzle technology (or if
you just like new things), we have a proposal for you. We need testers for our latest
Perplex City product. If you could be in Central London on Tuesday 8 August at 6-9pm,
and you're aged 16+, you could get a sneaky peek at what we have planned. Places are
strictly limited. Food and drink will be provided. Interested parties should make
