#104 Hit and Miss (Green Flame Set) Sorry, no scanner...
It's a minesweeper grid, with the window entitled "Which animal?"
Code:
....2..22...12...22...3........2..4..
.7.6...33...1.55....4.5.5.....6....3.
.6.6.6......1....4.33.6.33..2...6..1.
.6.6.5.45.3..355....4.5....4.57.6.3..
.4.4.3............2.....22...........
........6.2....21.1...1.....1..2.....
......1..............................
.......2.1...........................
......1.1..1.........................
...........2........2.....2.1....1...
.....1.2.1.5.3....1.3.....3...4.2....
....................3.....3.2.4.1....

........6.33..2.......3.......24.2...
...57.6...45...55.1.2.434..12.34.....
..2...4.3........2...2...22.....22...
In a second window behind the main one part of a logo has the words "DEPARTME...THE NAVY - UNI...ICA" and a second logo has the words "MARINE MAMMAL PROGRAM"

For a park located in the centre of the business district, Frigate Park is surprisingly overgrown, with the majority of the land taken up by dense woods. Nevertheless, locals enjoy the diverse wildlife it attracts and petitions to beautify the park have always failed to receive the required number of signatures.

The location of the mines reads 'my sonar aids U.S.'

I think it's fairly obvious that the full text of the window would be "Department of the Navy - United States of America"
Interesting, there actually is a program known as the "U.S. Navy Marine Mammal Program"
The purpose of the program is to determine the use of marine mammals in different military applications (ship and harbour protection, mine detection and clearance, and equipment recovery). Check it out on wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._Navy_Marine_Mammal_Program
The majority of the research was performed using (you guessed it):

Dolphins
The other marine mammals they have researched on are:

Porpoises, whales, seals, and sea lions
Which is interesting because though they haven't done research with it due to endangerment of the species, part of there logo consists of a:

Manatee

Still need a scan here...
(just remember This forum's limit: 300x450 pixels.
MindCandy has changed their scanning guidelines: http://www.mindcandydesign.com/clients/index.html No high-resolution scanning will be allowed AT ALL - no enlargements, no blow-ups of smaller areas, nada.)

I have copied the Minesweeper puzzle onto a paper grid and "solved" it, but I guess I must be missing something cos I just can't see it...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
(or maybe it's a Stealth dolphin)

Yes, I don't doubt it. The point is that (IMHO) it does not look like a you-know-what.
And PS, ta for doing the scanning

The image doesn't make the animal itself, it makes words that hint toward which animal is the solution.

This is definitely one for those of us who don't just randomly click everywhere when playing Minesweeper, eh?

Great card to work out - took me back to my university days when I would waste time playing Minesweeper instead of working on assignments! However, I went down the route of looking up U.S. submarine fleets. Bit of a dead end there

One of my favorites so far! Thanks for posting the scan, it gave me a copy to digitally doodle on and solve.

I got worried that I would have to unravel the game but as soon as I saw the Navy logo, I clocked it. Love this card!
