Seriously, you apparently gotta expect people will try to siphon off your success if you ever have any, and this situation is likely no exception. In addition to argfest.com being registered, someone has also squatted on argcon.com, so that's right out.

So we're just gonna have to go back to the original name: ARG Fest-o-Con & Wet T-Shirt Contest!

In the interest of brevity, I've dropped the t-shirt bit from the domain names and registered argfestocon.com and argfest-o-con.com. These will be the new official domains for all future ARG Fests/Conventions.

Accept no inferior substitutes!

Both Argcon.org and Conarg.org are available. I think the .org extension would be more appropriate than a .com extension in any event.

I like festOcon, I thought it was still being used but people just said argfest for short. Guess now it'll live on forever Jetpack (and maybe we can still work the wet T-shirts back into it)

Dang nabit, I have promised Space his wet t-shirt contest, and come heck or high water (well, I think high water will help), he's gonna gonna get it (might have to make sure that ARGFest-o-Con is in Las Vegas 2008 to get it, though).

Hmm, if I recall correctly, it was originally SUPER ARG-Fest-O-Con and Wet T-Shirt Contest.

Or, as we so lovingly referred to it: SAFOCAWTSC.

Good times. Smile

And yeah, it's all about the .com, baby.

Wink
