/me buys Scribe a drink... nice work there.

Am I just evil, or does the person promising not to let V down, and reassuring that there's plenty of time, have the same tone of voice as Anna?

Thanks Scribe Worshippy and, very sorry, but I've got one more for you:

I will be, sir, don't worry. Though if ever there were a just cause for risking your life, this would be it.

Will everything be ready in time or no?

Looks like the start of the V section for that date, maybe?

Just a thought. The timings of the V email exchange and the mentioned "chance" could refer to the wave 4 launch.

They may have found a way to gain access to the cards and add the extra details as some kind of code to the location of the cube so the agents on Earth could recover it for them.

As the academy controls the only communications link to Earth from PXC then this would provide a means of communicating with the Earth based agents.

This would fit with neither Sente nor MC knowing how they got there and also the tight timescale V referred to.

I was thinking similarly, Gibbet, although I am more inclined to think it relates to the San Francisco thing... big sabotage opportunity there.

I don't believe this is there. Gives context for Sente wanting an apology...

Can you believe this? They pretty obviously screwed up something fierce somewhere on their side and when we pointed out it couldn't be production problems and our fault, they go radio silent. Typical. They're always on about how very superior and intellectual they are, but you know S wouldn't last a week at Cambridge or Oxford.

And at least we don't celebrate holidays based on the mystical properties of the divine right angle.

Unrelated to the new ones, I got this one which I notice has a note about it on the wiki. This is an exact copy-paste from my email.

Has anyone else noticed that Adrian and Naomi are copying in Sente while they slag him off? Doesn't bode well for the team-up between the academy and Mind Candy, which could cause even more trouble if V and someone else decide to cause trouble...

Alternatively, if Sente is eeeeevil, then getting Mind Candy blamed/framed for the loss of the cube on Earth might be a nice little plan...

Clearly *not* a problem on my end. We've already looked and the cards are absolutely true to the designs you sent over. If you don't believe me, check your transmissions yourself.

hmmmmm? so the 3p aren't the only ones who need secret bits of gear from possibly sneaky avenues? or are they? could we be seeing a collusion here? whatever it is, i really don't like the sound of this mining stuff. and if lara is willing to risk her life for the project, that sounds more like some kind of religious dedication rather than just blagging for a promotion...

rach =)

Strikes me that the mining operation would be something that happened just before Kurt turned up at Silburn Griggs following Miranda. (The dates tie up just about...)
This may well also illustrate why Sente knew about Violet and Kurt's involvement with the flooding of the mines.

This, of course, doesn't give us any direct proof that Sente is evil, part of 3P or whatever, and it could just be that what Sente was doing there was completely legit. But the finger of guilt is slowly moving in his direction...
(Certainly he has more fingers in more pies than we originally were told about.)

On the other hand the confrontational e-mails between Adrian and Sente may just be trying to feed the rumours that Sente is evil while this is not the case at all...

[Edited to expand theories...]

So are these "mining operations" referring to Silburn-Griggs, or the mysterious drilling noises from Viendenbourg?

We know that Sente was involved in all that seeecret stuff at V'bourg from Scarlett's adventures... and yet he did seem to know about Violet/Kurt/Miradoline etc. as well, so I suppose it could refer to either?

Hard to believe, but Scarlett's little adventure took place before Christmas last year and so the drilling there was happening long before the leaked e-mails. Silburn-Griggs is still the best possibility.

Tee hee, I like this one...

I'll give you until tomorrow morning to find a way to apologise to me for this.

Wonder what they did to get Sente so cross? Perhaps the 'Mighty S' had something to do with it Very Happy

Interesting that the things on the cards were initially being investigated by Anna... if she knew that this would happen, seems like she was in the right place to put them there?

And what is the sneeky V up to this time? He seems to want to make sure that something goes off correctly. The theft? Something at the live event?

EDIT: Note to self. When replying to posts, READ THE LAST PAGE FIRST. Gah. The above makes no sense whatsoever.

I think Sente would do alright at Oxford Smile

Nice to see Naomi's name on things at last.

This is what's worrying me: Sente responsible for stealing away with equipment = Sente responsible for Anna's death...?

There's nothing there to say that the equipment was being stolen at all. It may just have been hard to get hold of or very expensive to buy and Sente was suffering from budgetary problems?

As for annoying Sente, the mail between Adrian and Naomi that was (accidentally?) copied into Sente may have done it...
