blurred age

On the madacorp. page on the kyle xy website the old woman that replaced the girl is blurred as is the man in front of the young boy. this could support the theory that madacorp. is creating a fountain of youth type experiment in order to better mankind.

Josh Trager's blog couldn't be a red hearing, could it? There aren't any blogs for the other family members. Will keep it under the magnifying glass.

UPDATE

Okay, ABC is keeping fairly consistent and keeping the times set right... the times in Josh's blog show a 3 hour time difference from me on the East Coast, so Josh is indeed posting from the West Coast... it also means that the blog only went up about two hours ago, if the date is straight.

And I wonder if the comments at the end mean that Lori, Declan, or Josh have AIM accounts?

That image in the forum looks added. I've looked through the source and that isn't in it. In fact I'm looking right at the spot it's supposed to be in and it's not there.

yeah the blog definitely looks fakish to me. How convenient that it is a clue, but that madacorp "removed" it from the source code after some guy found it but before anyone else saw it.

Also an interesting note on "red" things in the show.. the numbers on the Ouija board are red. The new phone message also looks like it should anagram to something like "red ouija date"

I decided to get the picture of Josh from the blog and put it side by side with a picture of Josh I cropped from a legit picture on ABC family. They're are a little small, but as you can see it's all legit. I also couldn't find the picture online, which supports that it is an ABC family thing. Smart of whoever did this to use an anonymous website for the blog, it just makes things that much harder for everyone. Very Happy

Names

The following names were extracted from code:
john smith","nicole trager","kyle xy","kyle","josh trager","lori trager","stephen trager", "detective breen", "tom foss", "amanda bloom ", "declan tanner", "rebecca thatcher", "david peterson", "julia peterson", "adam baylin", "william kern", "cyrus reynolds", "jacob cassidy"

My question is, Who is Jacob Cassidy, Cyrus Reynolds. One other thing, why is Declan's name Tanner?

RED herring.

RED does not always mean stop. Wink

I think that's stupid logic, but thought I'd bring it out anyway.

Why would the clue to go to Josh's blog be up if Josh's blog only opened very recently even though the clue in the Madacorp.com source has been gone for a while? (it could be that they wanted to get it out there, but were trying to make it a little more difficult).

I also tried to do the same thing they could've done with the image of the source and it's all very possible. I really don't know if it's real or not at this point.

It would be really easy to do, actually, because he could just cut and paste the code into notepad, type in new code, slip the window over the madacorp screen and take a snapshot of it. The placement of the HTML in the code is especially strange... I know ARG's are known for their oddities, but that's just stupid. On the other hand, there is a <! character in the HTML as it stands RIGHT NOW... it's located above all the margin stuff.

That blog went up August 1... the thread on ABC's site with the screen cap went up August 1... Josh's blog went up at 5:04... and 47 minutes later, at 5:51, the screen cap picture is up on that thread. 47 minutes would be about the time necessary to add in a fake URL, take a cap of it, upload the picture to the net, log onto a forum, post a picture of it, and all the other crap he would need to do to create a fake clue.

ABC didn't reserve the blogspace in advance, either. Josh joined Blogger on August (look at the user profile). His first blog went up on August 1. Wouldn't ABC want to create that account earlier, so nobody could nab the blogspace and fake people out?

Isn't it a bit coincidental that this guy just HAPPENED to take a screencap of the code? And why would Josh just decide to start blogging on August 1?

Why would Josh just decide to start blogging on August 1? Because he had no reason to before. Up until 6:00 PM (PST), Josh could've just written stuff in his notebook. but after that Stephan and Nicole would of made sure he didn't, so he started his own blog. That way he could continue to post his theories that Kyle was an alien.

I'm still all for the theory that the blog is fake. I agree that the whole thing was staged. And also, in his blog, Josh calls Kyle his foster brother. Is Kyle really his foster brother? If anybodies heard Kyle called a foster child on the show, please post about it.

Lori's blog?

Hello! I am new here. I just wanted to point out that there's a blog for Lori, too. I don't put much faith in either blog, but I don't want to discount them entirely.

OK well I will say this much, it doesn't seem logical that they would have a clue hidden in the source code of the mada site and then just gank it. I mean, the mada page is the rabbithole into the game (MADa blog.) If the arg makers were planning to use blogspace or any other blogging site/aim stuff they would have reserved the names long before the game started to prevent the possibility of someone else taking the names they would need for the game. (For example, on yahoo, LTrager; LoriTrager and Lori_trager are all taken already. on aim similar names for the family members and even tom foss. and check this out: http://www.loritrager.blogspot.com/ found it with a blog search. funny thing is, it wasn't there until after the post on the abcfamily website, but nothing was posted about it. So my guess is he's not "finished' making it and maybe he'll come up with some other cock-and-bull story about the ADAm blog having that link in its source code or some crap, but they removed it after he found it and took a screen cap.

The Lori blog reeks of some teenage girl. But not Lori. Lori has enough respect for Kyle to at least capitalize his name. And no way would Lori give us her email. She just doesn't seem like the blog person, and I think she would've had a blog before now (no reason for her to not).

Personally I think the lori and josh blogs just plain reek.

Btw a few minutes go the lori blog seems to have been edited and now this is found at the bottom:

BATHS LIE FOG SKI!

BEHOLD FROGS JOG!!!

Anagramed out it says something like This blog fake, josh forged blog. I dunno didn't work it all out. anyway, bogus crap that needs to be erased from my mind completely...

Yeh, and then it says "Be not swayed by false deceivers!". So I guess we've all spent our day trying to figure out something fake Wink .

Onto more serious matters, I still can't find Dean from Texas, Kylie from Colorado, or Wizeone in the comments on the Mada blog! The way they are responded to makes them seem key. But they may just be playing tricks on us.

Also, more reason to believe the time travel theory. The Mada blog says "The Ouija does not lie" and that means 781227 is Kyle's birthday (which translates out to 12/3/4038).
