I've been scanning the posts trying to see if you have these card's numbers. trout me if you must, but i guess its better to have them twice than not at all eh?

#250 (horizontal numbers) 4-3322333333333332-1
upside down: 1-343-2
small black blob on the lower right corner.

#253 (horizontal numbers) 1-1111211112-4
upside down: 2-111114441114114-1
small black blob in upper right corner

Thanks! Smile

Now only these will still have to be verified: #255, #256.

It looks like #257 and #P01 do not contain any digits (or blobs). But I have only seen digital versions of them. Can somebody confirm?

I can confirm that the card #255 'Clinical Explanation' does not contain any strange numbers or images Sad

Although the back of the card seems to show that this part of the city has been hit by bombs or something because the buildings are ripped apart and there seems to be crators....

So I guess I was wrong about there being equal amounts. Oh well.
It might be worth checking if all of the paths be plotted on #207 Huey Teocalli.

For the record, 257 and 258/P01 don't have any 'extras' on them.

Don't *think* this is trout but ...

Could the numbers refer to the waves? I consider the use of .5 as the only decimal suspicious. (The prototype cards were referred to as wave 0.5.)

As far as I can see, 256 doesn't appear have any digits, dice, splodges or any other odd markings

The Blobs:

Now that we have all digits strings (thanks guys/girls) I think it would be a good idea to get an outline of all the 12-13 blobs/shapes on the cards. Preferably on the same scale.

Maybe we can scan these parts of their cards (with fairly high res) and then draw the border. These self-drawn borders/outlines could then be posted on the forum without breaking any copyright rules.

Or you could simply PM/email the scans to me and tell me what resolution they are scanned with. I would be happy to do the hard work for you Smile.

PS. We are talking about these cards: #029, #063, #094, #096, #136, #188, #191, #192, #218, #235, #237, #250 and #253.

Sounds like as good an explanation as any so far....

Also, has anyone thought of putting the numbers on the wiki. I'm sure between us we'll get all of the appropriate numbers.

Ok. Here are some small and fairly low-res partials. But well its better than nothing Smile. These are all 14 shapes on the cards. All pictures are at the same scale and have only been enhanced in brightness and contrast.

#029:

#063:

#094:

#096:

#136:

#188:

#191:

#192:

#218:

#222:

#235:

#237:

#250:

#253:

How on earth should these be pieced together? Shocked

Any ideas are welcome.

Regards,

arnezami

PS. I think we really need higher res images to do this properly (keep in mind that because the above pictures were all originally jpeg they have quite a lot of artificial pixels and even blocking distortion which is very bad if you want crystal clear border lines).

[EDIT] 12 aug : added #222 and put #094 along with them. Total is now 14 shapes (while #222 and #253 look very similar).

Some people have also noticed blobs on map pieces as well.....any chance they might match up?

I would disagree and say that #094's is a piece. If you compare it to the other clouds, they are totally different. As for how, maybe in order from lightest to darkest? I would look for lines which aren't straight ans try using these as the outside bits.

As for map piece blobs, I had no idea! Could you post which cards these are on?

You may be right. I've added it to my previous post.

Here's the shape on 235, as neat as I can get it. Image has been so modified compared to the original scan that I'm assuming the 60dpi rule doesn't apply.
